Abstract

La invención proporciona un procedimiento para producir trehalosa en las células de las plantas capaces de producir trehalasa cultivando células de lasplantas que tengan la información genética necesaria para la producción de trehalosa ytreh alasa, o cultivando una planta o una parte de dicha plantaque incluya dichas células de la planta, con la característica de que dichas células de la planta son cultivadas, o dicha planta o parte de la planta, escultivada en la presencia deun inhi bidor de la trehalasa.
