Abstract

El aparato plegador 100 mediante el cual una red continua para formar un artículo absorbente 1 se pliega en dos a lo largo de una línea de plegamiento que se extiende en una dirección de desplazamiento MD de la red 7 al llevar un borde lateral 10A de la red 7 hacia su borde lateral opuesto 20A. El aparato plegador 100 incluye un rodillo de gran diámetro 110 configurado para presionar una región de referencia 11 que se extiende desde la línea de plegamiento hasta el borde lateral opuesto 20A, una barra guía de plegado 130 configurada para sostener la red 7 en la línea de plegamiento y un mecanismo de guía 140 configurado para guiar una región plegada 12 hacia la región de referencia 11, en donde la región plegada 12 se extiende desde la línea de plegamiento hasta el borde lateral 10A. La barra guía de plegado 130 incluye una porción deslizante 131 configurada para permitir que la red 7 se deslice sobre ella. La porción deslizante 131 tiene un coeficiente de fricción no superior a 0,4.
