Abstract
Una composición dental de dos componentes que elimina o reduce la incomodidad y dolor asociado con la hipersensibilidad dentinal cuya composición comprende un primer componente dentífrico que contiene un agente desensibilizante de sal de potasio y alrededor 0,5 hasta alrededor de 15% en peso de un compuesto de metal alcalino, un segundo componente dentífrico que contiene una sal de estaño desensibilizante, los primer y segundo componentes que son mantenidos separados el uno del otro hasta el dispensado para aplicación a los dientes que requieren de alivio de la hipersensibilidad dentinal, por lo cual se observa una alta desensibilización. Un método para eliminar o reducir la incomodidad y el dolor asociados con la hipersensibilidad dentinal que comprende preparar (1) un primer componente dentífrico que contiene un agente desensibilizante de sal de potasio y alrededor 0,5 hasta alrededor de 15% en peso de un compuesto de metal alcalino, y (2) un segundo componente dentífrico que contiene una sal estanosa desensibilizante, encajar separadamente los primer y segundo componentes, dispensar los primer y segundos componentes simultáneamente, combinar los componentes dispensados para aplicación a los dientes que requieren de alivio de la hipersensibilidad dentinal y posteriormente aplicar los componentes combinados a los dientes por lo cual se observa incrementada desensibilización. <EMI FILE="99023418_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >
