灌肠管4与管接头5固定连接相通，在灌肠管4上固定有密封气囊2，设置在灌肠管4上的充气管1的一端上安装有顶压式进气放气阀3，其另一端与密封气囊2相通。在给病人通过肛门向肠内灌药治疗或灌肠时，把灌肠管4和密封气囊2插入病人肛肠内，然后顶开顶压式进气放气阀3经充气管1向密封气囊2内充气密封住肛门处，随后通过管接头5经灌肠管4进行灌药或灌肠；治疗结束后顶开顶压式进气放气阀3把密封气囊2中的气体放出，从肛肠中抽出灌肠管4即可。
