汽车保险杠设置在汽车底盘的前部，目的是防止汽车相撞时受到伤害，目前的汽车保险杠多为玻璃钢加金属材料制成，因为玻璃钢材料比较脆，在受到外力撞击时，容易破碎，抗冲击能力差，所以在发生交通事故时，容易造成车辆的损坏，另一方面金属材质的保险杠硬度比较大，也容易造成另外一方的损坏。

本实用新型的目的是能有效防止车辆之间发生碰撞和损坏车辆的汽车保险杠。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的，它包括外壳、发泡充填体和固定件，其特征是外壳为中空结构，在外壳的腔体内设置有发泡充填体。
本实用新型的外壳采用橡胶、或塑料材料制成，强度低并且有弹性，同时在外壳的腔体内设置有发泡充填体，能有效的防止车辆在发生碰撞时不损坏车辆，加大了人身生命安全系数。
