Abstract

Frames are used, for example, as lateral guides and/or lateral boundaries for drawers and other extension systems, wherein the cavity frame is formed, for example, by two metal profiles. A suitable tool is therefore required for the assembly and disassembly of the two wall parts, and the use of fastening means or tools complicates the assembly process. In addition, precise positioning of the two wall parts relative to each other is often difficult because, for example, a screw passes through one wall part and must be screwed into a thread provided for the screw in the other wall part.

Contents of the invention

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a double-walled frame of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids the disadvantages of the prior art.

This object is solved according to the invention in that the two wall parts are connected to each other by a mechanical snap connection, wherein the second wall part can be hooked into the first wall part in a first position Up, movable along the longitudinal direction of the frame and lockable to a second position, wherein the first and second positions lie in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the frame.

A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the first wall part has a pivot bearing in the region of its upper longitudinal edge, into which the second wall part can be hooked and can be positioned relative to the first wall part. swing. In order to fasten the second wall part, which has been hooked in and pivoted, to the first wall part, it may be expedient if the first wall part preferably has a locking device in the region of its lower longitudinal edge, the second wall part parts can be snapped into the locking device. A structurally simple variant of the invention provides that the locking device is formed by an elastic and preferably contoured side.

In order to move the two wall parts relative to each other, it is advantageous if the second wall part can snap into a latching device of the first wall part and can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the frame. In order to orient the two wall parts precisely, it is provided in one embodiment of the invention that the movement path in the longitudinal direction of the frame is limited by a stop formed or arranged on the first wall part, thus defining the distance between the wall parts. relative precise location.
