Abstract

The present invention relates to a package, in particular for flowable or pasty products, having an integral part, a discharge opening and a filling opening, the perimeter of the body being approximately constant along almost the entire length of the body or slightly reduced.

Background technique

The product in such packages is generally squeezed out and thus needs to be expelled by means of a plunger. However, a problem with such packages is that they cannot be stacked in the unfilled and/or empty state and thus take up a lot of space.

The object of the present invention is to propose a stackable package as described above.

Contents of the invention

In the solution to this problem proposed by the invention, the body is tapered in a section by means of at least one pleat or the like.

It is thus possible to stack several identical packages on top of each other.

The invention also proves to be very advantageous if the body is designed to taper conically over its length.

This ensures particularly space-saving stacking.

According to another development of the invention, it is extremely advantageous if the body is folded into a zigzag shape.

This ensures an even distribution of material circumferentially around the body.

The invention has proven to be very advantageous if the meander-shaped folds are provided only in the conically tapering section of the body.

The body is conically shaped by the meander-shaped folds.

In a further very advantageous development of the invention, the body is designed very conically in the region of its one end.

This forms an outlet similar to a piping bag.

In another very advantageous development of the invention, an outwardly protruding collar or similar element is provided at one end of the packaging.

The collar can be used to secure the package in an ejection device. It also ensures that stacked packages can be separated from each other.

In another very advantageous development of the invention, the package is open at one end and is designed to be closed by a cover.

The packaging can be filled particularly easily and quickly through this opening. Furthermore, the contents of the pack can be pressed out through the outlet through the lid.

The inventors have proven to be very advantageous if the cover is welded on.

It is also very advantageous if the cover is glued on.

Both of these alternatives ensure a verifiably tamper-evident closure of the package.

It has proven to be very advantageous if the cover is mounted on or in the body.

In both cases the package is sealed by the lid.

It is also extremely advantageous if the cover has a predetermined breaking line.

The cover or a part of the cover can be separated from the body along this predetermined breaking line and, if necessary, pressed into the body by means of a plunger.

The invention also proves to be very advantageous if the lid is pressed into the space formed by the body when the package is emptied.

The lid can be used to press the contents of the package out through the discharge opening, thereby creating a tamper-evident feature.

In another very advantageous development, the outlet opening is closed by sealing and/or gluing.

This ensures that product cannot escape inadvertently from the package.

The invention also proves to be very advantageous if the discharge opening is designed in a specific shape, for example approximately star-shaped.

This improves the discharge of the product while giving the product an attractive appearance after discharge.

It is also extremely advantageous if the outlet opening is delimited by a predetermined breaking line.

This means that the discharge opening can be revealed by removing the closure.

It has also proven to be very advantageous if the outlet opening is designed to protrude.

The protruding discharge opening can be opened, for example, with a knife.

In a further advantageous development of the invention, the outlet opening is closed by a closure.

The outlet opening can then be opened particularly easily.

In the present invention it is very advantageous if the closure is glued or welded on.

Soldering or gluing are reliable and inexpensive fixing methods.

Detailed ways

Reference numeral 1 in FIG. 1 designates a package designed to hold a flowable and pasty product, such as soft ice cream or the like, and having an integral portion 2 . One end of the body 2 has a closeable filling opening 3 which can be closed by a cover 4 . The cover 4 is fastened in place against the inner wall of the body 2 . However, other methods of fastening the cover 4 are also conceivable. The other end of the body 2 is closed. A discharge opening 6 with a star-shaped edge 7 is provided in the end wall 5 . The edge 7 can have other contours. The discharge opening is closed by a closure 8 in the form of a tab, but other closures could also be used. The closure 8 is welded on, but could also be glued or fixed by other means. It is also conceivable to design the outlet opening protrudingly. The protruding spout portion can thus be cut away to open the package. In a section 9 immediately adjacent to the end wall 5, the body 2 tapers sharply towards this wall. The body 2 has an outwardly protruding collar 10 in the region of the filling opening 3 .

The body tapers slightly conically between the collar 10 and the section 9 . This tapered shape makes it possible to stack several unfilled and/or empty packages 1 inside each other.

The package 1 is emptied by means of a plunger, not shown, by pressing the lid 4 and the plunger into the space defined by the body. The plunger has the same diameter as the filling port 3 diameter.

The body 2 forms a meander in its conically tapering region between the collar 10 and the section 9 , the deviation of the meander 11 from a circle becoming greater as the degree of tapering increases. Thus, the circumference of the body remains constant throughout the tapered region.

When the plunger is pressed into the tapering region, the plunger widens the taper until its cross-section coincides with that of the plunger. Depending on the material used for the body 2, this widening is reversible, ie the body 2 returns to its original shape once the plunger is removed from the body 2 .

The body 2 is configured such that a meander is also formed in the sharply tapering section 9 . When the body 2 is widened, the section 9 is stretched in the direction of the plunger and is at least approximately at right angles to the rest of the body 2 when the plunger is fully pressed in. This ensures that no product remains inside the package 1 .

However, it is also conceivable to reduce the circumference of the body 2 slightly in the direction from the filling opening to the outlet opening 6 . When the plunger is pressed into the package 1, the body 2 will widen.

It is also conceivable to design the cap 4 itself as a plunger and press it into the package 1 .

In combination with the slightly reduced body circumference, it is ensured that the plunger which has been pressed into the package can no longer be removed from the package 1 . The package can therefore only be used once and thus has a particularly effective tamper-evident feature.

If the plunger can be removed again, the empty packs 1 and the unfilled packs 1 can be stacked inside one another. The collar 10 prevents the packages 1 from sliding inside each other so as to be difficult to separate from each other again. Stacking packages 1 reduces the volume of packages 1 that must be handled when several packages are inserted into each other inside them.

The body 2 can be made of plastic, especially polypropylene or polyethylene, paper or similar material.

A package (1) for flowable or pasty products, which has an integral part (2), a discharge opening (6) and a filling opening (3), the perimeter of the body (2) along the (2) approximately constant or slightly reduced over almost the entire length, wherein the body (2) tapers in a section in the direction from the filling opening (3) to the discharge opening (6) by means of at least one pleat . 2. A package (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the body (2) tapers conically along its length. 3. The package (1 ) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the body (2) is folded into a zigzag shape. 4. A package (1 ) according to claim 3, characterized in that said meander-shaped pleats are provided only in a conically tapering section of said body (2). 5. The package (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the body (2) is very approximately conical in the region (9) of its one end. 6. The package (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that, an outwardly protruding collar (10) is provided at one end of the package (1). 7. The package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that one end of the package (1) is open and can be closed by a cover (4). 8. Package (1 ) according to claim 7, characterized in that the cover (4) is welded on. 9. Package (1 ) according to claim 7, characterized in that the cover (4) is glued on. 10. Package (1 ) according to claim 7, 8 or 9, characterized in that the cover (4) is mounted on or in the body (2). 11. Package (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the cover (4) has a predetermined breaking line. 12. The package (1) according to claim 7, characterized in that the lid (4) is pressed into the space formed by the body (2) when the package (1) is emptied. 13. Package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is closed by welding and/or gluing. 14. The package (1 ) according to claim 1, characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is approximately star-shaped. 15. Package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is defined by a predetermined breaking line. 16. Package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is protruding. 17. Package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the discharge opening (6) is closed by a closure. 18. Package (1) according to claim 17, characterized in that the closure is glued or welded on. 19. Package (1 ) according to claim 17 or 18, characterized in that said closure is in the form of a label (8). 20. The package (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the body (2) is made of plastic. 21. Package (1) according to claim 20, characterized in that said plastic comprises polypropylene or polyethylene. 22. Package (1 ) according to claim 20, characterized in that the body (2) is produced by an injection molding process. 23. Package (1 ) according to claim 20, characterized in that the body (2) is produced by thermoforming. 24. Package (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said body (2) is rolled from paper and sealed along a longitudinal seam.
