Abstract

因特网和其他大计算机网络的发展使在虚拟环境而不是在真实世界中会见，娱乐，工作和交换信息成为可能。在这样一种虚拟环境中，已经进入虚拟世界的用户可利用化身与其他用户进行交流。
化身是一个角色，它在用户的控制下可周游虚拟世界和在虚拟世界的公共上下文中交流和/或互动。虚拟世界或虚拟实现(VR)可用任何适当的图形码，诸如虚拟实现建模语言(VRML)产生。
角色通常可以根据用户需要而定，例如，可以是一个卡通，一条鱼，一个用户的三维图象或任何图形元素。对虚拟世界的其他用户，化身代表用户表示的角色的图形表示。当控制化身的用户登录到虚拟世界时，就将化身送入到虚拟世界。
化身的另一个例子是“说话头”，即一个人头的三维表示，它可与说话同步地移动舌头。说话头可用来产生一个视觉互连的幻觉，甚至所用的连接是一个语音信道。

新添的存储功能，除了能从不同接入终端接入到有关虚拟世界外，也使能将化身用于新的诸如GSM电话或其他移动电话或终端这样的应用。
现在通过非限制性例子和参阅附图来详细地描述本发明，其中：
图1是说明在GSM:PLMN网中的化身交换的总图。
图2是一个GSM SIM卡存储系统的示意性方框图。
在图1中，示出了GSM-(全球移动通信)PLMN(公共陆地移动网)。该网包括移动站(MS)101和103，分别可连接到不同的基站子系统BSS105和107。网络109将基站105和107相互连，提供移动电话的不同业务。可以提供的这样一种业务是如与网络109相连的业务节点111所示的虚拟实现业务。

在图2中，示出了用于GSM系统的SIM卡的SIM文件。于是，SIM文件201包括一个主文件203。该主文件包括三个不同的目录，一个GSM文件205，一个电信文件207和一个化身识别文件209。文件205和207出现在传统的GSM SIM卡中。在图2中，对支持化身业务的SIM卡115的文件内容的扩展作了标记。业务表(EF-SST)211扩展了化身识别的业务(NO 40)213。结合GSM系统的保安设施，网络可要求MS提供用户授权的化身标识表示。对存储在SIM卡中不同使用有几种类型的化身表示。
一种应用可被称为“A-脸”表示的应用。这与原来的传统的电信网中的A-号码表示有同样的功能，但此时，被叫移动站103检测到呼叫前，在呼叫建立期间将呼叫用户的简单的图标图形传送到B用户。在图2中，称这为EF-AIC0N 215并位于化身识别目录209之下。
也可利用在SIM卡中包括化身特征使可使用化身特征，与化身一起输入到使用存储在SIM卡上的EF-A3D文件217中的3维图象的虚拟世界中。
在另一个最佳实施例中，该系统添加一个“说话头像”图象，这可在SIM上的EF-THMODEL文件219中定义。网络和网络中的其他MS单元使用该图象来与用户讲话同步地调制化身图象，例如与说话同步地移动一个化身图象的嘴唇和面孔。

Claims (11)

1．一种抽取式存储卡，其特征在于：有用于存储关于化身信息的装置，当该卡被用于进入这样一个虚拟世界时，该信息可被读取并传输到虚拟世界。
2．根据权利要求1的卡，其特征在于所述卡也存储电信信息。
3．根据权利要求1-2中任何权利要求的存储卡，其特征在于该卡是一个SIM卡。
4．根据权利要求1-2的任何权利要求的存储卡，其特征在于该卡是一个智能卡。
5．一种用于通信的装置，其特征在于用来接收和读取权利要求1-4中任何权利要求的存储卡的装置。
6．根据权利要求5的装置，其特征在于装置是一个移动电话。
7．根据权利要求5的装置，其特征在于该装置是一个移动通信终端。
8．根据权利要求5-7的装置，其特征在于有用来向被该装置接触的另一个装置提供和传输一个图标图形的装置。
9．根据权利要求8的装置，其特征在于：图标图形是一个说话头。
10．一种向虚拟世界传输化身信息的方法，其特征在于；化身信息从一个抽取式存储卡中读取并随后传输到虚拟世界。
11．根据权利要求10的方法，其特征在于，当存储卡位于移动电话时，传输的信息包括用来给联系的移动电话提供一个所传输的化身的图标图形。
