図6は図5の矢印ステップS1、すなわちユーザAが行うブランド申請のステップS1をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Aからブランド申請要求を受信する(ステップS11)。このブランド申請要求には、ユーザAが登録を希望するブランド名「A」及びロゴマーク「Aロゴ」が含まれている。ブランド申請要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの登録モジュール14は、管理データベース12内を検索し、ユーザA以外のユーザ(ユーザB〜ユーザn)により同一のブランド名「A」が既に登録されていないことを条件に(ステップS12)、管理データベース12内に新たなエントリーを登録する(ステップS13)。一方、ユーザAが同一のブランド名「A」について異なるロゴマーク(例えば、「aロゴ」)を登録することは許される。ここで、ブランド申請を許可する最低条件はブランド名が登録されていないことであるが、ブランド申請は頻繁に行われる処理ではないため、メタバースの管理者がより厳密な審査の元に行うことも可能である。例えば,ユーザAが申請ブランド名の権利(商標権)を現実世界において持っているかどうか審査することなどが考えられる。また、メタバース内でそのブランドを使用する権利に対して、申請許可時にユーザに課金することも可能である。
図8は図5の矢印ステップS2、すなわちユーザAが行うブランド設定のステップS2をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Aからブランド設定要求を受信する(ステップS21)。このブランド設定要求には、ユーザAが設定を希望するオブジェクト及びブランドにそれぞれ対応するオブジェクトID「101」及びブランドID「201」が含まれている。なお、ブランドID「201」は先のブランド申請(ステップS1)において、登録モジュール14からユーザAに与えられたものである。ブランド設定要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの登録モジュール14は、管理データベース12内を検索し、ブランド設定要求を送信したユーザAがそのブランドID「201」に対応するブランド管理者「ユーザA」と一致するか否かを判断する(ステップS22)。なお、ブランド設定要求を送信したユーザは、上述の通り、メタバースへのログインの際に特定される。次に、登録モジュール14は、オブジェクト・データベース11内を検索し、ブランド設定要求を送信したユーザAがそのオブジェクトID「101」に対応するオブジェクト所有者「ユーザA」と一致するか否かを判断し(ステップS23)、オブジェクトID「101」に対応するブランドIDが未設定(Null)であるか否かを判断する(ステップS24)。これらの条件(ステップS22〜S24)をすべて満たす場合に、登録モジュール14は、受信したオブジェクトID「101」に対応するエントリーのブランドIDを「Null」から受信したブランドID「201」に変更する(ステップS25)。さらに、(必要に応じ)ユーザAに課金をする(ステップS26)。
図10は図5の矢印ステップS3、すなわち鞄オブジェクトB(101)をユーザAからユーザBへ譲渡するオブジェクト譲渡のステップS3をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Aからオブジェクト譲渡要求を受信する(ステップS31)。このオブジェクト譲渡要求には、ユーザAが譲渡を希望するオブジェクト及び譲渡先にそれぞれ対応するオブジェクトID「101」及びユーザ名「ユーザB」が含まれている。オブジェクト譲渡要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの更新モジュール15は、オブジェクト譲渡に関する従来のチェックを行い(ステップS32)、オブジェクト・データベース11において、オブジェクトID「101」に対応するエントリーうち、オブジェクト所有者情報を「ユーザA」から「ユーザB」へ変更し、履歴情報「createdby A」に「given to B」を追加登録する(ステップS33)。そして、オブジェクト譲渡に関する従来の処理を行う(ステップS34)。
図12は図5の矢印ステップS4、すなわちユーザBが鞄オブジェクトB(101)を複製して新たな鞄オブジェクトB(102)を作成するオブジェクト複製のステップS4をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Bからオブジェクト複製要求を受信する(ステップS41)。このオブジェクト複製要求には、ユーザBが複製を希望するオブジェクトに対応するオブジェクトID「101」が含まれている。オブジェクト複製要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの更新モジュール15は、オブジェクト複製に関する従来のチェックを行い(ステップS42)、オブジェクト・データベース11において、新たなエントリー(例えば、オブジェクトID「102」とする)を作成し(ステップS43)、オブジェクト複製に関する従来の処理を行う(ステップS44)。

図15は図5の一点鎖線矢印ステップS6、すなわちユーザBが鞄オブジェクトB(104)を作成するオブジェクト作成のステップS6をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Bからオブジェクト作成要求を受信する(ステップS61)。このオブジェクト作成要求には、ユーザBが作成を希望するオブジェクトに対応する形状データD(104)が含まれている。オブジェクト作成要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの更新モジュール15は、オブジェクト作成に関する従来のチェックを行い(ステップS62)、オブジェクト・データベース11において、新たなエントリー(例えば、オブジェクトID「104」とする)を作成し(ステップS63)、オブジェクト作成に関する従来の処理を行う(ステップS64)。図13のオブジェクト・データベース11の模式図を再度参照する。オブジェクトID「104」に対応するエントリーは、形状データD(104)、オブジェクト所有者「ユーザB」、履歴情報「createdby B」、ブランドID「null」を含む。ここで形状データD(104)はユーザBが作成したものである。また履歴情報「created by B」は、この形状データ「D(104)」がユーザBによりメタバースにおいて作成された又は外部からメタバースへ持ち込まれたことを示す。また、ブランドID「null」は、この鞄オブジェクトB(104)に対応するブランド管理情報が記憶されていないことを示す。このように、たとえメタバース外から「ブランド品」とそっくりな形状データを持ち込んだとしても、そのオブジェクトにはブランドIDが付与されていないため、以下のオブジェクト照会により偽物であることを判別できる。
図16は図5の矢印ステップS7、すなわちユーザCが鞄オブジェクトB(101)〜B(104)を照会するオブジェクト照会のステップS7をより詳細に説明するフローチャートである。オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの通信モジュール13がクライアント3Cからオブジェクト照会要求を受信する(ステップS71)。このオブジェクト照会要求には、ユーザCが照会を希望する鞄オブジェクトBに対応するオブジェクトIDが含まれている。オブジェクト照会要求を受信することに応答して、オブジェクト管理サーバ1Cの照会モジュール16は、オブジェクト・データベース11内を検索し、受信したオブジェクトIDに対応するエントリーのブランドIDを取得する(ステップS72)。照会モジュール16は、そのブランドIDが「null」か否かを判断する(ステップS73)。対応するブランドIDが「null」でない場合には、照会モジュール16は管理データベース12内を検索し、そのブランドIDに対応するブランド名とそのロゴマークをクライアント3Cへ送信する(ステップS74)。一方、対応するブランドIDが「null」の場合には、照会モジュール16は「対応するブランドIDがない」旨のメッセージをクライアント3Cへ送信する(ステップS75)。さらに、予め定められたメタバース運営者や履歴情報に基づいて判断される関係者にアラート・メッセージを送信してもよい。

- 複数のクライアント・コンピュータとネットワークを介して接続され、各クライアント・コンピュータがアクセスするメタバース内のオブジェクトを管理するサーバ・コンピュータであり、
あるオブジェクトについて当該オブジェクトを特定するオブジェクトIDと当該オブジェクトが真正であることを示す真正情報とを関連付けてオブジェクト情報として記憶する記憶部と、
各クライアント・コンピュータと通信する通信部と、
あるクライアント・コンピュータから対応するオブジェクトIDを含む当該オブジェクトの照会要求を受信することに応答し、当該オブジェクトIDに対応する真正情報が当該記憶部に記憶されていることを条件に、当該通信部に当該真正情報を当該クライアント・コンピュータに対して送信させる照会部と
