技术领域
本公开大体上涉及关于车辆的设备、系统和方法。更确切地说,本公开涉及一种使用车辆的前照灯照明的设备。
背景技术
当今,例如自主、部分自主和/或非自主车辆(例如汽车、轿车、卡车、公共汽车等)的机动车辆可使用传感器、相机和通信手段来获取关于其周围环境的信息。
确切地说,车辆前照灯与行人和另一车辆的交互性越来越强。举例来说,由于可见性有限,大部分事故发生在夜间,因此车辆可配备有用于控制前照灯的定向和强度的系统,以避免其它车辆或行人产生目眩,并且因此提高夜间安全性。
然而,前照灯的重要性与车辆内部是否存在人有关。提供有自主驾驶系统的车辆甚至不需要前照灯,因为车辆使用不同技术来驾驶,并且此技术演进将使车辆在夜间驾驶不再需要前照灯。
然而,在从辅助驾驶车辆过渡到完全自主车辆的过渡周期中,前照灯是必选的,因为必须检测到其它非自主车辆的存在。

参考那些图,将在本文中公开涉及通过车辆的前照灯来投影多媒体内容的设备、系统和方法。
考虑到出于照明目的在从辅助驾驶车辆到完全自主车辆的过渡周期中必须重复使用前照灯的事实,将需要为前照灯提供额外功能,例如投影多媒体内容的信息,以使其呈现为交互的,以便更好地使用前照灯。
本公开的目标是满足上文所提及的需要,提供一种与车辆的前照灯相关联和/或并入车辆的前照灯中的投影设备,尤其是对于辅助驾驶车辆的前照灯。
本发明的一个实施例涉及一种设备,其包括:
-娱乐系统;

另一实施例涉及一种车辆的前照灯,其包含:
-至少数字光处理(DLP)单元;
-DLP控制单元;
-数据总线,其将所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元互连且将两个单元连接到车辆的娱乐系统以接收图像和/或视频数据。
在一个实施例中,娱乐系统包含包含多媒体内容的常驻或可移除存储装置。

-在车辆的前照灯中提供至少数字光处理(DLP)单元;

在一个实施例中,所述DLP单元代替车辆的前照灯的至少正常光束。
图1是根据本公开的实施例的实例车辆实体100的框图。车辆实体100可为自主车辆、传统的非自主车辆、应急车辆、服务车辆等。
车辆实体100包含车辆计算装置110,例如车载计算机。车辆计算装置110包含耦合到车辆通信组件130的处理器120,例如读取器、写入器和/或能够执行下文所描述的功能的其它计算装置,所述车辆通信组件耦合到(或包含)天线140。车辆通信组件130包含耦合到存储器160的处理器150,所述存储器例如是非易失性快闪存储器,但实施例不限于此。

本文中所公开的至少一个实施例包含一种车辆100,其具有经由总线103(例如PCIe总线)连接到存储装置160以使用存储装置中所实施的虚拟功能来共享存储装置的存储能力的多个应用程序板。PCIe总线和/或存储装置可用于促进车辆应用程序板之间的通信,例如具有实施高级驾驶辅助系统(ADAS)、信息娱乐系统、发动机控制件、相机等的功能的组件的电路板。
常规车辆应用程序板,例如具有安装在那用于发动机控制件、制动系统、信息娱乐系统等的组件的印刷电路板,被设计成彼此独立地操作。一般来说,此类车辆应用程序板具有其自己的本地存储器来存储数据和代码。一些板可具有附加能力或容量的专用端口,这扩展了板的功能性。
举例来说,一些板可具有被配置成接受例如快闪存储器装置的非易失性存储器的端口;并且可将快闪存储器装置插入到此类板的端口中,以扩展板的存储器能力。
举例来说,一些板可具有被配置成接受Wi-Fi模块的端口;并且可将Wi-Fi模块插入到此类板的端口中,以扩展或启用板的无线局域网通信能力。
在本文中所公开的至少一些实施例中,在车辆上提供PCIe总线103,以将车辆应用程序板连接到一或多个共享资源,例如存储装置。因此,可经由在连接到车辆中的PCIe总线的板之间共享单个装置的未用存储能力,来优化板的成本。
举例来说,可以最小量的所安装存储器来制造应用程序板;并且可将临时数据和/或不频繁使用的数据存储在连接到PCIe总线的共享数据存储装置(例如固态驱动器(SSD))中。因此,安装在车辆上的一或多个应用程序板的存储容量可通过在PCIe总线上提供共享存储装置来扩展,和/或经由PCIe总线上的共享存储装置的升级来增强。
PCIe总线103可布线在车辆内部,以连接车辆的应用程序板,如图2中所展示。另外,PCIe总线还允许通过连接更多存储装置和/或其它外围装置,例如相机、传感器、数据处理单元、工具,以及用于通过应用程序板共享的小工具,来扩展车辆系统的能力。在额外外围装置和/或应用程序板存在于总线上时,现有应用程序板的软件/固件可升级或被配置成扩展其能力,以基于与额外外围装置和/或板的通信和/或协作而提供新的服务。总线上的外围装置和/或板可彼此通信(例如,以用于读取或写入操作的数据流的形式),而不需要单独的计算机网络。PCIe总线103可用作车辆应用程序之间的全局总线,以彼此通信(例如,在车辆应用程序之间交换服务消息),共享资源(例如,前置相机、后置相机、传感器、致动器)。因此,总线提供互连不同应用程序板和/或外围装置以提供高级和/或集成服务且改进车载计算系统的可缩放性的机会。

典型车辆100具有发动机107、制动器109,以及用于驱动、转向、加速、止动等的其它组件。组件中的一些可由一或多个计算装置控制和/或监测,例如发动机控制件113、高级驾驶辅助系统(ADAS)111、信息娱乐系统119、存储装置117、相机115等。

在本公开中,已考虑例如光束和像素光和回转曲线灯等其它功能已并入到车辆的前照灯中。
计算装置中的一些可具有所连接的传感器,以收集关于车辆100的操作的信息;并且计算装置中的一些可操作致动器以对车辆100的至少一部分施加控制。电池105(和/或其它电源)为计算装置(111、113、...、119)的操作提供电力。

可实施虚拟化以允许共享某一资源(例如存储装置117)的不同应用程序板的某一程度的分离。举例来说,单根输入/输出虚拟化(SR-IOV)和/或多根输入/输出虚拟化(MR-IOV)可用于促进共享,其中经由共享硬件装置(例如存储装置117)中实施的虚拟功能来分离不同应用程序。
举例来说,存储装置117可在总线103上呈现述存储装置117的多个虚拟功能。存储装置117的每一虚拟功能被配置在存储装置117的存储容量的一部分上。指派存储装置117的不同虚拟功能以供不同应用程序板使用。因此,应用程序板的操作大体上彼此不同,即使应用程序板共享同一存储装置117。
替代地,存储装置117可实施多个物理功能,其被指派以供不同应用程序板使用。然而,实施多个物理功能增加了成本且降低了容纳可连接用于对存储装置117的共享存取的不同数目的应用程序板的灵活性。
在一些例子中,可在存储装置117中实施多个物理功能,以改进存储装置117的处理能力;以及将物理功能所支持的虚拟功能指派给应用程序板。因此,应用程序板不会直接使用物理功能。
在本公开的一个实施例中,根据本公开,车辆100包含车载投影设备200,其使用同一车辆的前照灯照明以用于投影多媒体内容。
图3是根据本公开的实施例的将并入到车辆的前照灯中且连接到车辆的信息娱乐系统119的此类投影设备200的实例的框图。
投影设备包含与控制单元230通信的数字光处理(DLP)单元220。DLP单元220和控制单元230可并入到前照灯240中,如下文将更好地解释。作为替代方案,仅DLP单元220可并入到前照灯中,而控制单元230可安装在车辆计算装置110中。DLP单元进一步被配置成投影彩色图像和/或视频内容。
DLP单元220通过总线250连接到控制单元230且连接到信息娱乐系统119。可根据预定义协议规范(例如用于外围组件互连高速(PCI高速或PCIe)总线的规范)来实施总线250。
换句话说,总线250可对应于先前所公开的总线103,或可为作为所述总线103的外围分支的本地总线。作为替代方案,总线250可类似于总线103而构造,但具有相对插入式连接器280、290,以直接连接信息娱乐系统119与控制单元230。
插入式连接器可为安装在数据总线250的相对端上的六加二接脚PCIe连接器或八接脚PCIe连接器。在图中,展示了仅作为实例的公连接器。此种类的快接连接器可用于以快速方式将数据总线250连接到与前照灯的DLP单元220相关联的对应母连接器且连接到DLP控制单元230。类似地,此种类的公或母PCIe连接器可与信息娱乐系统119的输出相关联以用于与数据总线250的快接连接。

在至少一个实施例中,DLP控制单元230通过PCIe总线250连接到娱乐系统119且连接到DLP单元220。
本文中还公开一种前照灯240,其包含数字光处理(DLP)单元和DLP控制单元,所述DLP控制单元被配置成接收信息和/或多媒体数据且控制DLP单元以通过前照灯来投影与多媒体数据相关的信息和/或多媒体内容。
在本公开的一个实施例中,通过将包含DLP单元220和对应控制单元230的投影设备200引入到车辆100的前照灯240中,可通过前照灯实现与存储到存储器装置中的信息和/或多媒体数据相关的任何所要信息或多媒体内容的投影。以此方式,将前照灯240在实现其正常照明目的时呈现为交互的。
举例来说,前照灯240还可集成额外组件,例如可在车辆前方投影实时图像(即,实施高清对象辨识)的相机。实例可为将动物指向车辆前方,并且使用前照灯中的一个中和/或前照灯中的另一个中的投影仪展示此动物的放大视图,以便将动物展示给车辆上的车载儿童。
本文中还公开一种实施到车辆中的方法,其包括以下步骤:提供通过总线250彼此连接的DLP单元220和DLP控制单元230以用于从车辆100的前照灯240投影多媒体内容。
然而,应注意,尽管本公开将参考用于车辆的前照灯的投影设备和方法的实施例,但本公开不限于此。
更确切地说,本公开的解决方案可应用于两个前照灯114;以此方式,车辆前方的双DLP投影仪可服务:
-在驾驶期间出于照明目的作为灯,但使用具体颜色,而不仅仅是单色光;
-在车辆的停车期间从信息娱乐系统投影具体内容;举例来说,将有可能在停车场中投影电影或找到车辆;
-作为常规投影仪以将个人电影和/或流式传输电影从灯投影到类似于墙面的可见表面。
取决于前方的屏幕,双DLP前照灯可在3D模式下操作,或取决于周围环境,双DLP前照灯可在全息个人模式下操作。总而言之,车辆可能会转换成一种个人“汽车影院”模式,以用于投影由用户选择的电影。换句话说,用户可从因特网下载流式传输和/或使用个人视频来驱动前照灯。
DLP控制单元230对于前照灯可为唯一的且可通过总线250从信息娱乐系统119接收数据。
现在参考图4的实例,将公开DLP单元220的半导体组件300。数字光处理(DLP)是基于使用数字微镜装置的光学微机电技术的显示装置。
DLP用于从传统静态显示器到交互式显示器的各种显示应用以及包含医疗、安全性和工业用途的非传统嵌入式应用。
在DLP投影仪中,通过置于半导体芯片310上的矩阵中的显微镜式小型镜(被称为数字微镜装置(DMD))创建图像。
典型DMD阵列具有悬置在衬底上方的数千个镜元件。镜和地址电极之间的静电引力使得镜在两个方向中的任意一个方向上围绕一对扭力梁铰链形成的轴扭转或枢转。通常,镜围绕这些铰链旋转直到旋转机械地停止为止。取决于写入到单元的数据,可移动微镜通过静电力倾斜到打开或关闭状态。镜的倾斜度约为正10度(打开)或负10度(关闭),以调制入射在表面上的光。
更详细地说,半导体芯片310使用来自较大微镜阵列(约一百万个)的反射,所述微镜各自安装在其自身的半导体存储器单元上方且在本文中被称作数字微镜装置(DMD)。DMD包括一个特殊的光调制器,所述特殊的光调制器用可移动的微小的、大体上呈正方形或菱形的镜覆盖CMOS静态RAM的每一存储器单元,所述镜的边缘尺寸约为几微米。每一镜表示所投影图像中的一或多个像素。镜的数目对应于所投影图像的分辨率。由在此单元中的数据控制的静电力使镜中的每一个围绕一对轴倾斜约正或负10°度,以便调制入射在镜的表面上的光。
其它类型的图像显示系统通常通过发射或调制光以使得光形成图片元素或像素的阵列来创建图像,所述图片元素或像素在一起查看时形成图像。虽然大多数光调制器可产生多个强度等级,但真正的数字光调制器(例如,DMD)不能。从镜中的所选择镜反射的光传递通过投影透镜320且在屏幕330上创建图像。
来自其余的关闭或未被选择的镜的光反射远离投影透镜且被捕获。在不能够产生多个亮度等级的情况下,例如DMD阵列的数字光调制器依赖于数字脉宽调制方案,以通过非常快速地打开和关闭调制器元件来产生各种强度等级。
在每一视频帧期间,镜保持在打开状态中的时间部分确定从零打开时间的黑色到非百分之百打开时间的白色(或明亮颜色)的灰度梯度(或颜色强度)。颜色可通过色轮或通过使用两个或更多个DMD来控制或关闭所选择原色组而添加。
DLP技术是光源不可知的,并且因此可与多种光源有效地使用。
图5展示DLP投影仪的替代实例,其中光源400将其光聚焦到将原红色光束分开的第一二向色镜410上,并且使其余光束朝向将另一蓝色光束分开的另一二向色镜420偏离,并且使另外的光束部分朝向另外的二向色镜430偏离。
在此实例中,三芯片DLP投影仪使用棱镜440来拆分来自光源400的光,并且每一原色的光接着被路由到其自身的DLP芯片450,接着重新组合且通过透镜460路由出去。高端家庭影院投影仪、大型场馆投影仪和数字影院中的DLP影院投影系统中都有三芯片系统。
可在本公开的前照灯中实施且也去除了色轮的使用的DLP显示器的另一个替代方案是基于激光技术。与其它方法相比,三个单独彩色激光照亮数字微镜装置(DMD),从而产生更丰富、更生动的调色板。
另一替代实施方案可使用手持型投影仪(也被称为微型投影仪或迷你光束器),所述手持型投影仪为手持型装置中的图像投影仪。手持型投影仪涉及微型化硬件和可将数字图像投影到附近观看表面上的软件。
在任何情况下,独立于被采用以实施DLP单元220的技术,本公开教示将此类DLP单元220托管于车辆的前端前照灯240中,确切地说,替代正常侧光束,例如图6的现有技术图片中所展示的正常侧光束。
图7展示在车辆的前照灯的外侧部分中标识的区域500的非限制性实例,其中可安装本公开的DLP单元220。
在此实例中,DLP单元代替前照灯的正常侧光束,并且其结构可对应于图4或5中所展示的实例的透镜320或460。
图8展示图7的前照灯240的内部支撑结构,其中保护玻璃被移除,并且其中支撑塑料框架550包含用于托管DLP单元以通过数据总线250连接到DLP控制单元的凹入侧部分560。
换句话说,DLP单元代替车辆的前照灯的至少正常光束。
根据本发明,可通过至少用DLP投影仪取代正常光束、将此类投影仪连接到车辆的DLP控制单元和娱乐系统来修改现有车辆的前照灯。在一个实施例中,可通过数据总线103和对应的快接连接器实施以上组件之间的互连。
此外,根据本公开的对车辆的前照灯的改变将允许引入用于使用前照灯建立车辆到车辆通信的方法。举例来说,在缺少其它替代通信构件的情况下,两个封闭车辆的驾驶员可通过使用前照灯中的DLP控制单元和投影仪来通信以交换视觉信息,例如简单的警告消息。
因此,先前所公开的视觉机构的实施方案将允许重新使用头灯,确切地说,自主车辆的头灯,以便更好的使用,因为提供有自主驾驶系统的所有未来车辆将甚至不需要前照灯。
先前所公开的解决方案在从驾驶员辅助机构过渡到完全自主车辆中是必选的。
此外,在车辆前方的彩色视觉指示的实施方案还将允许投影警告信号或在车辆之间交换视觉信息。
通过本公开的解决方案,有可能在车辆前方投影3D和全息个人内容以用于任何可能的娱乐用途。
在此所公开的系统甚至可被视为一种使用单个车辆的个人驾驶概念,并且甚至可能建立一种趋势。
在先前详细描述中,参考附图,所述附图形成本发明的一部分,并且其中借助于说明展示具体实例。在图式中,遍及若干视图,相似的标号描述大体上类似的组件。在不脱离本公开的范围的情况下,可利用其它实例,并且可做出结构、逻辑和/或电性改变。

Claims (30)

1.一种设备,其包括:
-娱乐系统;
-前照灯,其具有集成于其中的至少数字光处理(DLP)单元;
-控制单元,其被配置成从所述娱乐系统接收图像和/或视频数据且控制所述DLP单元以通过所述前照灯来投影至少图像和/或视频内容。
2.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述娱乐系统与车辆计算装置相关联且经由快速连接数据总线链接到所述数字光处理单元且链接到所述DLP控制单元。
3.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元都并入到车辆的所述前照灯中。
4.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述DLP单元与所述娱乐系统相关联,而所述DLP控制单元并入到车辆的所述前照灯中。
5.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元都通过总线连接到所述娱乐系统。
6.根据权利要求5所述的设备,其中所述连接总线是根据预定义协议规范实施,例如用于外围组件互连高速(PCIe)总线的规范。
7.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述数字光处理(DLP)包含基于使用数字微镜装置的光学微机电技术的显示装置。
8.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述数字光处理(DLP)包含基于激光技术的显示装置。
9.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述娱乐系统包含包含多媒体内容的常驻或可移除存储装置。
10.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中所述DLP单元被配置成投影彩色图像和/或视频内容。
11.根据权利要求2所述的设备,其中所述娱乐系统通过数据总线的快接连接以可移除方式连接到所述车辆计算装置。
12.一种车辆的前照灯,其包含:
-至少数字光处理(DLP)单元,以及
-总线连接器,其用于通过数据总线将所述DLP单元快速连接到DLP控制单元;
-所述DLP控制单元被配置成从所述车辆的娱乐系统接收图像和/或视频数据。
13.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元都并入到所述车辆的所述前照灯中。
14.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述DLP单元并入到所述车辆的所述前照灯中,而所述DLP控制单元与所述娱乐系统相关联。
15.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元都通过所述数据总线连接到所述娱乐系统。
16.根据权利要求15所述的前照灯,其中所述连接数据总线是根据预定义协议规范实施,例如用于外围组件互连高速(PCIe)总线的规范。
17.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述数字光处理(DLP)是基于使用数字微镜装置的光学微机电技术的显示装置。
18.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述数字光处理(DLP)是基于激光技术的显示装置。
19.根据权利要求12所述的前照灯,其中所述DLP单元被配置成投影彩色图像和/或视频内容。
20.一种车辆的前照灯,其包含:
-至少数字光处理(DLP)单元;
-DLP控制单元;
-数据总线,其将所述DLP单元和所述DLP控制单元互连且将两个单元连接到所述车辆的娱乐系统以接收图像和/或视频数据。
21.根据权利要求20所述的前照灯,其中所述娱乐系统包含包含多媒体内容的常驻或可移除存储装置。
22.根据权利要求20所述的前照灯,其中所述DLP单元被配置成投影彩色图像和/或视频内容。
23.一种用于投影图像和/或视频数据的方法,其包括:
-在车辆的前照灯中提供至少数字光处理(DLP)单元;
-提供DLP控制单元以从所述车辆的娱乐系统接收图像和/或视频数据且控制所述DLP单元以通过所述前照灯来投影至少图像和/或视频内容。
24.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其进一步在所述车辆的第二前照灯中提供第二数字光处理(DLP)单元。
25.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其在所述车辆的所述娱乐系统与所述数字光处理单元和所述DLP控制单元之间提供快速连接数据总线。
26.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其进一步提供包含包含多媒体内容的常驻或可移除存储装置的娱乐系统。
27.根据权利要求26所述的方法,其中所述车辆的所述娱乐系统通过数据总线的快接连接以可移除方式连接到车辆计算装置。
28.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其中所述DLP单元代替所述车辆的前照灯的至少正常光束。
29.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其中所述DLP被配置成在所述车辆的停车期间投影至少图像和/或视频内容,并且其被配置成在驾驶期间操作为常规交互式灯。
30.根据权利要求23所述的方法,其中所述DLP单元被配置成投影彩色图像和/或视频内容。
