Abstract

Description

提供用以支持上链及下链信道的信道分派信息的方法及系统
本申请是申请号为200480028878.0、申请日为2004年11月18日、发明名称为“提供用以支持上链及下链信道的信道分派信息的方法及系统”的专利申请的分案申请。
(l)技术领域
本发明涉及无线通信系统,更特别地,本发明涉及用于提供信道分配信息以支持上行链路和下行链路传输的方法和系统。
(2)背景技术
高速下行链路分组接入(HSDPA)己被开发来增加通用移动电信系统(UMTS)第5次发行(R5)的宽带码分多址(W-CDMA)系统的下行链路(DL)效率和吞吐量。与UMTS R99/R4相比,HSDPA的关键优势在于在DL与快速层l混合自动重复请求(H-ARQ)中的快速和动态链路自适应。快速链路自适应是由基站中的快速调度DL传输实现的,并与快速层1DL信令信道耦合。该信令信道,即高速共享控制信道(HS-SCCH),传递无线电资源配置信息至多个无线传输/接收单元(WTRU)。
在频分双工(FDD)中,HS-SCCH在三(3)时隙传输时间间隔(TTI)期间以扩频因子(SF)=128的信道化码(code)来发送。HS-SCCH指示在特定时间偏移后在高速下行链路共享信道(HS-DSCH)上数据将会被传送至WTRU。HS-SCCH携带下列信息:1)信道化码集合(channelization-code-set)信息(7比特);2)调制方案信息(1比特);3)传输块(transport-block)大小信息(6比特);4)H-ARQ处理信息(3比特);5)冗余及星座(constellation)版本(3比特);6)新数据指示符(1比特);7)WTRU标识(16比特)。
HS-SCCH通过三个(3)时隙(2ms TTI)进行发送,但是由两个(2)字段组成。字段1(第一时隙)包含信道化码映像及调制格式信息;而字段2(第二和第三时隙)包含传输块大小、H-ARQ信息、冗余版本、新数据指示符及WTRU特定的循环冗余校验(CRC)。
可选地,增强型上行链路(EU)增加了上行链路(UL)效率和吞吐量。H-ARQ和节点B调度是EU的一部分。类似于HSDPA,用于EU操作的新的共享DL控制信道提供用于UL传输的UL无线电资源的快速和动态自适应。用于EU的共享DL控制信道需要保证用于UL传输的低配置的潜在因素和有效的无线电资源管理。在下文中,为了达到EU的目的,共享DL控制信道简单地被称为UL资源分配信道。
为了与HSDPA一起实施EU,用于EU的另一UL资源分配信道可以在用于HSDPA的现有HS-SCCH上被引入。所以,引入作为UL资源分配信道的扩展因子(SF)=128的DL信道的分离(separate)集合是可能的。用该途径,除了用于HSDPA操作的HS-SCCH,WTRU将需要监控一个或多个UL资源分配信道。虽然该途径在概念上是简单的,但在这个方案中存在许多缺点,如WTRU的复杂性、WTRU的电池效率和DL扩展码用法。
因此,为了同时支持EU和HSDPA操作,有效的EU信道分配方案是必要的。
(3)发明内容
在一个实施方式中,本发明是用于提供信道分配信息以支持UL信道和DL信道的方法和无线通信系统。该系统包括至少一个节点B和至少一个WTRU。WTRU经由公共控制信道、UL信道和DL信道与节点B进行通信。WTRU经由公共控制信道从节点B接收消息。该消息包括该消息是为向UL信道还是向DL信道分配无线电资源而准备的的指示。WTRU确定该消息是否是为该WTRU而准备的,如果是,该WTRU确定该消息是用于向UL信道还是DL信道分配无线电资源。基于该消息是用于向UL信道还是向DL信道分配无线电资源,WTRU采取适当的动作。
在另一实施方式中,本发明是一种方法和时隙无线通信系统。该系统包括至少一个节点B、控制节点B的无线电网络控制器(RNC)及经由公共控制信道、UL信道和DL信道与节点B进行通信的至少一个WTRU。RNC传送消息至WTRU,以指示哪些时隙TTI支持UL信道传输和哪些时隙TTI支持DL信道传输。

在下文中,专用术语“WTRU”包括但不限于用户设备、移动站、固定或移动用户单元、寻呼机或能够在无线环境中操作的任何其他类型的设备。当下文中涉及时,专用术语“节点B”包括但不限于基站、站点控制器、接入点或无线环境中的任何其他类型的接口设备。
本发明适用于任何类型的无线通信系统,如UMTS时分双工(TDD)和FDD、时分同步码分多址(TDSCDMA)、码分多址2000(CDMA2000)和通常的CDMA或任何其他类型的无线通信系统。
本发明的特征可成为集成电路(IC)的一部分或被配置在包括大量互连组件的电路中。
本发明将参照HSDPA和EU进行描述,且术语HSDPA和EU可分别与DL和UL互相交换使用,应当理解的是,参照HSDPA和EU仅是为了描述本发明的优选实施方式,而本发明的教导可应用于利用公共控制信道来同时传送针对UL和DL传输的信道分配信息的任何系统。
图1为根据本发明的用于支持UL和DL操作的系统100的框图。系统100包括RNC 102、节点B 104和WTRU 106。节点B 104由RNC 102控制,且动态地分配来自WTRU 106和传输至WTRU 106的UL和DL传输的无线电资源。在节点B 104和WTRU 106之间建立三个信道。这三个信道为DL信道108、UL信道110和公共控制信道112。公共控制信道112被用于针对UL和DL传输的信道分配信息的传输。
节点B 104被配置为支持HSDPA和EU操作。因此,各节点B 104分别动态地通过HS-DSCH和EU信道为传输至WTRU 106和来自WTRU 106的DL和UL传输分配无线电资源。针对HS-DSCH和EU的无线电资源分配信息通过公共控制信道112传送。
根据本发明,公共控制信道112被用于针对UL和DL传输的无线电资源分配信息的传输,且提供了特定指示以区别无线电资源分配是针对UL传输还是针对DL传输。因此,公共控制信道112占用共享的DL无线电资源空间,由SF=128的信道化码(channelization code)的集合定义,并同时用于DL和UL传输,且WTRU 106被配置为识别特定传输是为向DL传输还是向UL传输分配无线电资源而准备的。
根据本发明的第一实施方式,特定无线电资源被分配用于UL传输的指示借助于在当前HSDPA的信道化码集合映射中不可能的组合的一个或多个组合提供。图2为用于当前在HSDPA中使用的信道化码集合映射的查询表。HS-SCCH使用七(7)比特来通知WTRU 106哪些SF=16的信道化码用于对应的HS-DSCH。在128个可能的组合之外,八种(8)组合当前未用于HSDPA(参见图2中标示的“冗余区域”)。八种(8)未使用的组合中的一个或多个组合是用于分配无线电资源或指示解调传输用于UL传输,不是DL传输。因此,如果WTRU 106确定信道化码集合对应于图2的不可能组合中的一个组合,则WTRU 106识别出传输是用于无线电资源的分配以用于UL传输而不是用于DL传输,或识别出对应于信道化码集合的码被分配给UL传输。
根据本发明的第二实施方式,特定无线电资源被分配用于UL传输的指示是借助于WTRU特定的CRC所提供。在目前HSDPA的说明书中,WTRU特定的CRC包含于HS-SCCH字段2中。16比特的CRC根据被传送的信息来计算,且所计算的CRC用唯一的16比特WTRU标识(ID)进行掩蔽,该掩蔽的CRC被传送至WTRU 106以作为WTRU特定的CRC。

根据本发明的第三实施方式,特定的无线电资源被分配用于EU的指示是借助于WTRU特定的掩蔽序列来提供。在目前HSDPA说明书中,字段l的40比特序列是用从16比特的WTRU ID中产生的40比特WTRU特定的中间码序列进行掩蔽的。
依据第三实施方式,在字段l上的WTRU特定的掩蔽以唯一且确定的方式来修改,以指示传输是为EU而不是为HSDPA而准备的。例如,第二实施方式中产生的反转的16比特CRC可用于获得40比特的长掩蔽序列。如果WTRU 106在用WTRU特定的掩蔽序列对接收到的传输进行解码时成功,则WTRU 106可识别出传输是为HSDPA而准备的,而如果WTRU 106在用WTRU特定的掩蔽序列对接收到的传输进行解码时成功,则WTRU 106可识别出传输是为EU而准备的。
用这个方法,WTRU 106在已经接收到HS-SCCH传输的仅字段l之后能够对是EU还是HSDPA信道分配己经被传送进行区别。
可选地,WTRU ID可由网络以特定的WTRU ID不与另一WTRU ID冲突的方式进行分配。例如,EU的第一WTRU的反转ID可用于指示第二WTRU的HSDPA服务。因此,UL资源分配信道和HS-SCCH的出现的同步检测是便利的。

依据本发明,RRC传送用于指示“偶数”TTI中的传输是用于HS-SCCH及“奇数”TTI中的传输是用于UL资源分配信道的信号。通过不允许用于HS-SCCH的传输在“奇数”TTI中传送,可保证与R5 WTRU的后向兼容性。SF=128资源的相同集合可用于HS-SCCH和UL资源分配信道。
根据本发明的第五实施方式,特定的无线电资源被分配用于EU的指示借助于相关联的DL专用信道(DCH)上的层l指示来提供。相关联的DL DCH上的一个或多个比特借助于固定的且预先确定的定时关系来指示与HS-SCCH相反的UL资源分配信道即将出现。
