Abstract
Description
한편, 본 발명은 상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 네트워크에서 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법에 있어서, 헤더 압축과 관련된 단말 능력(UE capability)을 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 수신된 단말 능력을 바탕으로 상향링크와 하향링크를 위한 파라미터들을 구성하는 단계를 포함하고, 여기서 상기 상향링크 파라미터들과 상기 하향링크 파라미터들은 구분되어 각각 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법을 제공한다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 단말에서 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법에 있어서, 헤더 압축과 관련된 단말 능력(UE capability)을 전송하는 단계; 상향링크 파라미터들과 하향링크 파라미터들은 네트워크에 의해서 각각 구분하여 구성되며, 상기 네트워크에 의해서 구성된 파라미터들을 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 수신된 파라미터들에 기초하여 압축기와 복원기를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법을 제공한다.
또한, 본 발명은 상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 패킷 데이터 통신을 수행하는 단말에 있어서, 헤더 압축과 관련된 단말 능력(UE capability)을 전송하고, 네트워크에서 구분하여 각각 구성된 상향링크 파라미터들과 하향링크 파라미터들을 수신하는 무선자원제어(RRC: Radio Resource Control) 계층; 및 상기 구성된 상향링크 파라미터들과 하향링크 파라미터들에 기초하여 압축기와 복원기를 구성하는 패킷데이터수렴프로토콜(PDCP: Packet Data Convergence Protocol) 계층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 단말을 제공한다.
Claims (21)
- 네트워크에서 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법에 있어서,헤더 압축과 관련된 단말 능력(UE capability)을 수신하는 단계; 및상기 수신된 단말 능력을 바탕으로 상향링크와 하향링크를 위한 파라미터들을 구성하는 단계를 포함하고,여기서 상기 상향링크 파라미터들과 상기 하향링크 파라미터들은 구분되어 각각 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구성된 파라미터들을 단말로 전송하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전송되는 구성된 파라미터들은 상향링크를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전송되는 구성된 파라미터들은 하향링크를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 상향링크 파라미터들은 상기 단말의 압축기를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 하향링크 파라미터들은 상기 단말의 복원기를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 헤더 압축은 ROHC(Robust Header Compression) 압축기법을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.

- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단계들은 VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) 및 스트리밍(Streaming) 서비스 중 적어도 하나를 제공하기 위해서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 단말에서 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법에 있어서,헤더 압축과 관련된 단말 능력(UE capability)을 전송하는 단계;상향링크 파라미터들과 하향링크 파라미터들은 네트워크에 의해서 각각 구분하여 구성되며, 상기 네트워크에 의해서 구성된 파라미터들을 수신하는 단계; 및상기 수신된 파라미터들에 기초하여 압축기와 복원기를 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 수신된 파라미터들은 상향링크를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 수신된 파라미터들은 하향링크를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 상향링크 파라미터들은 상기 압축기를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 하향링크 파라미터들은 상기 복원기를 위한 것인 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 헤더 압축은 ROHC (Robust Header Compression) 압축기법을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패킷 데이터를 통신하는 방법.
