Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及压敏粘合剂组合物,并且更具体地涉及具有耐化学品性的压敏粘合剂组合物。
背景技术
压敏粘合剂(PSA)带实际上存在于家用和工业用途的任何地方。压敏粘合带通常包括设置在基底上的压敏粘合剂层。压敏粘合剂在使用压敏粘合带的温度下表现出压敏粘合性,并且在仅适当的压力下附接到各种制品以形成粘合剂粘结。
根据压敏粘合带委员会(Pressure-Sensitive Tape Council),已知压敏粘合剂(PSA)具有以下特性:(1)强而持久的压敏粘合性,(2)使用小于或等于指压的压力的粘附性,(3)足以保留在目标物体上的能力,以及(4)足以从目标物体干净移除的内聚强度。已知作为压敏粘合剂(PSA)具有优异功能的材料包括被设计和配制以表现出所需粘弹性特性的聚合物,导致压敏粘合性、剥离粘合性和剪切保持力的所需平衡。通常,压敏粘合剂具有在室温(例如20℃)下显示出压敏粘合性的特性。应注意的是,即使当组合物简单地粘附或附着到表面时,压敏粘合剂也不包含该组合物。
该要求通常使用被设计用以分别测量压敏粘合性、粘合性(剥离强度)和内聚性(剪切保持力)的测试来评估,如A.V.Pocius在由俄亥俄州辛辛那提汉瑟加德纳出版社(Hanser Gardner Publication,Cincinnati,OH)于2002年出版的粘附和粘合剂技术:概论(Adhesion and Adhesives Technology∶An Introduction)(第2版)中所指明的那样将这些测量结果放在一起以平衡广泛用于表征PSA的特征。
由于多年来广泛使用压敏粘合带,对性能要求的需求越来越高。例如,需要提供具有高粘合强度、防水性和耐化学品性的压敏粘合剂。
常规压敏粘合剂具有在它们接触化学品时具有降低的粘合强度的问题。具体地,可穿戴设备等中使用的压敏粘合剂在其寿命期间容易暴露于家用化学品诸如油酸,因此需要耐化学品性。
具体实施方式
本发明涉及一种压敏粘合剂组合物,其具有优异的粘合强度,表现出防水性和耐化学品性,并且即使在与化学品接触时也能保持恒定的粘合强度。
用于解决本发明的方法
为了解决如上所述的现有技术问题,根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种压敏粘合剂组合物,其包含通过聚合多种单体而形成的聚合物。此处,单体包括i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种,和iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种。
单体可使用引发剂在溶剂中聚合。
基于聚合物的总重量,i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种的含量可在63重量%至84重量%的范围内,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种的含量可在10重量%至30重量%的范围内,并且iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种的含量可在3重量%至15重量%的范围内。
压敏粘合剂组合物还可包含交联剂,并且交联剂可包括选自基于异氰酸酯的交联剂、基于双酰胺的交联剂、基于螯合物的交联剂、基于三聚氰胺的交联剂、基于环氧树脂的交联剂、基于胺的交联剂、和基于脲的交联剂中的一种或多种。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供了一种压敏粘合剂制品,其包括基底和设置在该基底上的压敏粘合剂层。此处,压敏粘合剂层包含根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物。
有益效果
根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物具有优异的粘合强度,并表现出防水性和耐化学品性。即,根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物即使在与化学品接触时也能够保持粘合强度。

在下文中将详细描述本发明的示例性实施方案。
根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物是丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂组合物。根据本发明的一个示例性实施方案的压敏粘合剂组合物包含通过聚合多种单体而形成的聚合物。优选地,聚合物为丙烯酸类聚合物。
此类单体包括i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种,和iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种。
基于聚合物的总重量,i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种的含量在约63重量%至约84重量%的范围内,优选在约64重量%至约79重量%的范围内,并且更优选在约63重量%至约69重量%的范围内。
另外,基于聚合物的总重量,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种的含量在约10重量%至约30重量%的范围内,优选在约15重量%至约28重量%的范围内,并且更优选在约18重量%至约25重量%的范围内。
此外,基于聚合物的总重量,iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种的含量在约3重量%至约15重量%的范围内,优选在约5重量%至约13重量%的范围内,并且更优选在约5重量%至约8重量%的范围内。
除了聚合物之外,压敏粘合剂组合物还可包含交联剂。交联剂可用于将聚合物链与聚合物连接,并且还可用于控制粘合强度和保持力。例如,交联剂可包括选自基于异氰酸酯的交联剂、基于双酰胺的交联剂、基于螯合物的交联剂、基于三聚氰胺的交联剂、环氧类交联剂、基于胺的交联剂、和基于脲的交联剂中的一种或多种。优选地,交联剂是基于异氰酸酯的交联剂。优选地,基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量,交联剂的含量也在约0.05重量%至1.00重量%的范围内。
根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物是溶剂型压敏粘合剂组合物,其中聚合物通过在溶剂中使单体聚合而形成。之后,可将交联剂与聚合物混合,并且可将所得混合物施加到基底上以形成粘合剂制品,优选形成带形式的粘合剂制品。
此类溶剂型压敏粘合剂与水基压敏粘合剂相比具有优异的防水性、耐热性、保持力和粘合强度。此外,与水基压敏粘合剂相比,溶剂型压敏粘合剂具有由于作为分散介质的溶剂的低挥发温度所以干燥设备成本降低的优点。因此,溶剂型压敏粘合剂优选用于需要高粘合强度的工业产品,特别是用于电子产品。
一种制备根据本发明的溶剂型压敏粘合剂组合物的方法包括通过向溶剂中加入引发剂来合成聚合物,其中具有i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种,和iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种,以及使这些单体聚合。此外,该方法还可包括在合成聚合物后另外添加溶剂和交联剂。
在这种情况下,溶剂可包括选自乙酸乙酯和甲苯中的一种或多种。聚合后加入的溶剂可用于溶解在合成聚合物之后另外加入的功能性材料中,并且具有通过在将压敏粘合剂组合物涂覆到基底上时调节压敏粘合剂组合物的干燥挥发性来使压敏粘合剂组合物的表面平滑的效果。
此外,引发剂是通过加热形成反应性自由基的热引发剂,并且由于反应性自由基触发单体的链式反应以形成聚合物。例如,引发剂可以是2-(2-氰基丁-2-基二茚基)-2-甲基丁腈。优选地,基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量,引发剂以0.1重量%至1.0重量%的含量存在。
包括设置在基底上的压敏粘合剂层的压敏粘合剂制品可通过将本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物涂覆到基底的一个或两个表面上并干燥压敏粘合剂组合物来形成。此类压敏粘合剂制品优选是压敏粘合带。
剥离衬垫可以设置在压敏粘合剂层的其上设置有基底的相反表面上。压敏粘合剂制品可在从压敏粘合剂制品中移除此类剥离衬垫之后使用。
基底优选包括选自膜、纸、金属箔和织物中的一种,更优选聚酯膜。然而,可用于支撑压敏粘合剂层的任何材料都是足够的,但是本发明不限于此。
此类压敏粘合剂组合物具有高粘合强度、防水性和耐化学品性。具体地,本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物可表现出当暴露于诸如油(例如橄榄油)、化妆品等的家用化学品时的优异的耐化学品性并保持粘合强度。
此类压敏粘合剂组合物的耐化学品性可如下定义:
等级1:浸入化学品中之后发生完全剥离;
等级3:浸入化学品中之后发生部分剥离;以及
等级5:浸入化学品中之后不会发生剥离。
根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物即使在压敏粘合剂组合物已经浸入化学品中之后也具有等级3或更高的耐受性。
包括根据本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物的压敏粘合剂制品可用于家庭和工业目的。优选地,此类压敏粘合剂制品,优选压敏粘合带是用于可穿戴设备的压敏粘合带。在使用期间,可穿戴设备可容易地暴露于各种化学品诸如化妆品、厨房用品、洁厕品等。因此,具有耐化学品性的本发明的压敏粘合剂组合物和包括其的压敏粘合剂制品当用于可穿戴设备时是特别理想的。
下文将参照其实验例对本发明进行更详细的描述。然而,应理解的是,本文提出的描述仅仅是出于说明的目的的优选示例,并不旨在限制本发明的范围。因此,显而易见的是,在不脱离本发明的范围的情况下,可对本发明的实验例进行各种改变和修改,因此应理解,本发明覆盖了所有这些改变和修改,只要它们是在所附权利要求及其等同物的范围内。
用于描述以下实验例的缩写和商品名的含义列于下表1中。

压敏粘合剂组合物的制备
实施例1、2和5至18以及比较例1至10
向1L烧瓶中填充单体,1g VAZO 67(20重量%乙酸乙酯中的原液)和99.2g乙酸乙酯并密封。将密封的烧瓶在60℃下在水浴中保持24小时,使单体聚合。聚合后,将63.3g乙酸乙酯和70g甲苯加入到烧瓶中以制备乙酸乙酯和甲苯以70∶30的比率存在的压敏粘合剂溶液。此外,基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量,将0.55重量%的交联剂(DESMODUR L75)加入到压敏粘合剂溶液中,然后混合30分钟以制备压敏粘合剂组合物。
实施例3和4
制备其中乙酸乙酯和甲苯以70∶30的比率存在的压敏粘合剂溶液。之后,基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量,将0.25重量%或1.00重量%的交联剂(DESMODUR L75)另外加入到压敏粘合剂溶液中,然后混合30分钟以制备压敏粘合剂组合物。
比较例11和12
将单体和0.2重量%的VAZO 67加入到其中乙酸乙酯和甲苯以1∶1的体积比混合的溶剂中,并且在65℃的恒定反应温度下反应7小时以制备压敏粘合剂组合物。此外,基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量,将0.55重量%的交联剂(DESMODUR L75)加入到压敏粘合剂溶液中,然后混合30分钟以制备压敏粘合剂组合物。
下面的表2中列出了所使用的单体和交联剂的组分和含量以及压敏粘合剂溶液中的固体含量。在下面的表2中,单体的含量基于由单体组成的聚合物的总重量,并且固体和交联剂的含量基于压敏粘合剂组合物的总重量。

单面涂覆的粘合带的制备
使用缺口棒涂覆技术用压敏粘合剂组合物涂覆经电晕处理的50μm厚的聚酯基膜(SP63B)。此后,将每个涂覆的基膜通过经过其中三个区域分别设定为50℃、80℃和110℃的烘箱干燥,每个区域大约一分钟,总共大约3分钟。干燥的压敏粘合剂层的厚度为大约50μm。作为剥离衬垫,将硅化聚酯膜(SG-31)层合到经干燥的压敏粘合剂层上,然后在加热炉中在50℃下储存72小时使其稳定化。
双面涂覆的粘合带的制备
如上所述,制备单面涂覆的粘合带,并用压敏粘合剂组合物涂覆单面涂覆的粘合带的其上未形成压敏粘合剂层的一个表面,并以如上所述相同方式干燥。然后,将剥离衬垫层合到经干燥的压敏粘合剂层上,然后稳定。
压敏粘合剂强度测试
将样品浸入化学品中,并且根据ASTM D3330/D3330M-04(2010)(“压敏粘合带的剥离粘附的标准测试方法”)测量样品的压敏粘合剂强度。
更具体地,将每种所制备的压敏粘合剂组合物层合到50μm厚的PET上以制备测试样品。将测试样品切割成宽度为5mm的块,并将其附着到303-不锈钢以制备测试面板。然后,将测试面板在室温下保持24小时。
接下来,将测试面板在65℃/90%RH的条件下保持72小时,并且通过以300mm/min的速率和180°的角度剥离来测量测试面板的剥离强度(压敏粘合剂强度)。
耐化学品性测试
将由表2中列出的压敏粘合剂组合物制备的每个双面涂覆的粘合带切割成尺寸为0.5英寸×0.5英寸(1.27cm×1.27cm)的块以制备测试样品。从每个测试样品的一个表面移除剥离衬垫,并且然后将测试样品附接到培养皿的底部。之后,从每个测试样品的另一表面移除剥离衬垫,并将附接了测试样品的培养皿在室温(大约23℃)下保持15分钟。
接下来,将测试样品在70℃下在油酸或其中异丙醇(IPA)和水(H2O)以70∶30的比率存在的化学品中浸渍8小时。
下面的表3中列出了压敏粘合剂强度测试和耐化学品性测试的结果。耐化学品性定义如下:
等级1:浸入化学品中之后发生完全剥离;
等级3:浸入化学品中之后发生部分剥离;以及
等级5:浸入化学品中之后不会发生剥离。
如下面的表3所示,反映了即使在压敏粘合剂组合物已浸入化学品中之后,本发明实施例中制备的压敏粘合剂组合物也具有等级3或更高的耐受性。
另一方面,反映了其中加入NVC或NNDMA而不是AN的比较例1至7的压敏粘合剂组合物、其中加入2-HEA而不是AA的比较例8至10的压敏粘合剂组合物、以及其中加入MM或MA或加入IM或CA而不是AN或AA的比较例11和12的压敏粘合剂组合物在浸入至少任一种化学品时具有等级1的耐受性。具体地,反映了比较例1至12中的大多数压敏粘合剂组合物在浸入油酸中时具有等级1的耐受性。

尽管已经如上所述详细描述了本发明的优选实施方案,但是对于本领域技术人员而言显而易见的是,上述描述仅是示例性的,并且可对上述示例性实施方案进行各种修改而不偏离本发明的范围。因此,本发明旨在涵盖所有此类修改,前提条件是它们进入所附权利要求及其等同物范围内。
Claims (6)
1.一种压敏粘合剂组合物,包含通过使多种单体聚合而形成的聚合物,
其中所述单体包括i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种,和iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种。
2.根据权利要求1所述的压敏粘合剂组合物,其中所述单体使用引发剂在溶剂中聚合。
3.根据权利要求1所述的压敏粘合剂组合物,其中基于所述聚合物的总重量,i)选自丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、丙烯酸丁酯、丙烯酸异辛酯、丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯、丙烯酸正辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-乙基己酯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸异辛酯、甲基丙烯酸2-丙基庚酯和甲基丙烯酸正辛酯中的一种或多种的含量在63重量%至84重量%的范围内,ii)选自丙烯腈和甲基丙烯腈中的一种或多种的含量在10重量%至30重量%的范围内,并且iii)选自丙烯酸和甲基丙烯酸中的一种或多种的含量在3重量%至15重量%的范围内。
4.根据权利要求1所述的压敏粘合剂组合物,还包含交联剂。
5.根据权利要求4所述的压敏粘合剂组合物,其中所述交联剂包括选自基于异氰酸酯的交联剂、基于双酰胺的交联剂、基于螯合物的交联剂、基于三聚氰胺的交联剂、基于环氧树脂的交联剂、基于胺的交联剂和基于脲的交联剂中的一种或多种。
6.一种压敏粘合剂制品,包括:
基底;以及
设置在所述基底上的压敏粘合剂层,
其中所述压敏粘合剂层包含权利要求1至6中任一项定义的压敏粘合剂组合物。
