技术领域
本发明涉及单质硫肥,更具体而言,涉及用于生产可分散单质硫肥颗粒的组分和方法。
背景技术
在农业科学领域中,一般都知晓施用硫肥可提高作物产量及质量,且关于作物对氮的利用还具有积极影响。氮的利用又与蛋白质合成、细胞复制、光合作用和抗病性相关。
然而,越来越严格的空气污染法规和二氧化硫排放的减少已导致农用土壤中硫缺乏更加常见,从而提高了对含硫肥料的需求。
一般来说,硫粉由于难以处理而很少用作农业肥料,且硫磺粉尘对眼睛产生刺激。而且,硫磺粉尘在处理设备中具有爆炸的危险,且与颗粒状肥料产品混合时分离。
因此,现场应用中使用的大多数农业肥料被制成微粒,以缓解以上弊端。微粒产品容易处理而不会生成过多粉尘,且与其它微粒产品混合时分离较少。
在传统上,硫以单质硫、硫酸铵、硫代硫酸铵、硫酸氢铵、硫化物或硫酸钙(石膏)的形式加以应用。
由于单质硫肥产品的浓度高,具有更低的运输成本、处理成本和储存成本,因此比硫酸盐产品具有更好的经济效益。当与其它营养素产品混合时,高浓度肥料产品还具有更好的灵活性。单质硫产品的主要缺点是其氧化成植物可利用的硫酸盐的速度慢,往往需要从施用时起数年时间。
单质硫肥的效力取决于其氧化为植物可利用的硫酸盐形式的速度。在土壤中,氧化为硫酸盐是涉及细菌种类如硫杆菌的微生物过程。该反应的速度受到土壤和环境因素以及肥料产品的物理和化学特性极大的影响。硫的氧化通常是表面反应。因此,每单位时间内产生的硫酸盐的量是当下单质硫的总表面积的函数,而不是其质量的函数,因此硫微粒大小对氧化速度有很大影响。
肥料产品对氧化速度有实质影响的两个物理属性为:在施于土壤上或土壤中后自肥料颗粒分散的程度以及分散后的硫微粒的尺寸,较小微粒比较大微粒氧化更快。
为使硫能更好地分散,一些单质硫产品利用热法将硫和膨润土混合,该热法在生产阶段中使用熔融硫磺。在施用时,膨润土用于吸水且使微粒分裂或分散。事实上,微粒并不易于分散成微细粒子,且硫氧化的进展速度很慢。这是由于在生产阶段中熔融的疏水硫磺涂覆在粘土微粒上防止与水接触。
因此,包含如下肥料的颗粒状单质硫是有利的,该肥料的营养含量高,且在土壤上或土壤中接触到水时快速分散为精细分裂的微粒,例如亚30微米的微粒。
迄今已提出不同的产品和方法。例如,美国专利4,133,669涉及一种用于将单质硫和膨润土的混合物制粒以生产可水降解的小粒的方法,该方法包括:在高温下将干燥膨润土粉末加入到熔融硫磺中以得到熔融的硫磺-膨润土混合物,制成该混合物的熔滴,在低于硫磺-膨润土混合物凝固点的温度下提供液体肥料冷却剂,将熔滴加入到该冷却剂中,使熔滴在足以使熔滴退火形成小粒的足够长时间内通过冷却剂,并且将退火后的小粒从冷却剂中取出。
此外,美国专利4,330,319涉及一种通过将尿素和熔融硫磺混合得到熔融混合物并将该熔融混合物凝固得到均质的固态微粒尿素硫肥的尿素硫肥生产方法,其中,硫的粒度小于大约100微米。该方法包括:在高于熔点的温度下使熔融尿素和熔融硫磺穿过混合装置,利用充足添加的熔融硫磺得到分散在尿素中的细碎的硫,以制备所述尿素硫肥;横跨所述混合装置保持至少大约200kPa的压降以形成匀质的尿素硫熔化物;且通过造粒或凝聚使所述匀质的熔化物凝固。
此外,美国专利4,394,150公布一种微粒,该微粒通过以下制得:将熔融硫磺和膨胀粘土微粒的混合物穿过多个孔并进入水溶性电解质盐的水溶液中,该水溶液保持在可将混合物有效冷却到该混合物凝固温度以下的温度。
另外,美国专利4,569,859涉及一种用于将硫磺与膨润土的混合物颗粒化以生产可水降解的小粒的方法,包括:将粉末状的干燥膨润土在一定温度下加入到熔融硫磺中,得到熔融的硫磺-膨润土混合物;形成该混合物的熔滴;在足够低的温度下采用氯化钠、硫酸钠、氯化钾或硫酸钾的淬火溶液以凝固所述硫磺-膨润土混合物。
然而,美国专利5,571,303公布了另一种硫基微粒肥料,包括:均匀的硫分散体,以及选自硫酸铵、磷酸铵和其混合物中的至少一种。
此外,美国专利5,599,373涉及一种粒状形式的农用硫基化学土壤改进剂或调节剂。该产品包括:硫磺粉(fly sulphur powder),选自粘土、膨润土、高岭土及以上混合物的至少3%重量比的惰性化合物,以及至少0.5%重量比的润湿剂。
在美国专利5,599,373、5,571,303和美国专利4,330,319中具有其它肥料、组成及制造方法。
本发明可缓解与处理硫粉有关的安全问题,以及硫磺膨润土中颗粒状硫转化为硫酸盐的速度过慢的问题。
发明内容
提供了单质硫颗粒,该单质硫颗粒可分散为细碎微粒,其中,超过10%的所述微粒小于50目(美国标准尺寸)。所述微粒含有10%~99.9%的硫。在施用所述颗粒后,水会接触所述颗粒,使其分散成为小块,从而将细碎的硫微粒呈现给氧化细菌以及时转化为植物可利用的硫酸盐。
本发明一方面涉及一种可水分散颗粒,包括微粒化单质硫,其中80%微粒的尺寸小于30微米,其与水接触后会分散为微粒。
本发明的另一方面涉及一种可水分散颗粒,包括:微粒化硫;粘合剂和表面活性剂中的至少一种;膨润土;以及在潮湿环境中提供阳离子和阴离子的可溶性化合物。
本发明的又一方面涉及一种可水分散颗粒,包括:微粒化单质硫,其中80%的微粒的直径小于30微米;以及粘合剂成分,该粘合剂成分的量按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%;所述颗粒的平均颗粒域大小和平均抗碎强度使得所述颗粒在与水接触的几分钟内分散成为微粒,其中,超过10%的所述微粒可通过50目(美国标准尺寸)的筛子。
本发明的又一方面涉及一种制备可水分散颗粒的方法,包括:将微粒化单质硫微粒与添加剂、水在低于硫的熔化温度的温度下混合,以制成具有一定水分含量的混合物,其中80%的微粒化单质硫微粒的尺寸小于30微米;以及将上述混合物制成颗粒。

具体实施方式
概述
本发明涉及一种配制分散特性得到提高的单质硫肥颗粒的方法。所述颗粒在处理和施用到期望区域期间保持其尺寸和形状。在施用之后,所述颗粒与来自所处理区域本身、来自灌溉或来自自然降水或从土壤中吸潮而得到的水分接触时快速分散。所述颗粒的分散允许较小的硫微粒迅速氧化成可供植物利用的硫酸盐,以满足作物的肥力需求。更大的微粒氧化更慢,且在整个生长期内提供硫酸盐。
在本发明中,术语“分散”用于表示颗粒通过与水接触时分为多个更小的细碎小块而分散。颗粒在水中分散的能力通常采用湿筛实验进行测量。该实验包括将40g颗粒放置到浸于室温下的水中的50目筛子上。允许所述颗粒吸水60秒,然后轻轻地将筛子旋转3圈。然后将所述颗粒再浸泡5分钟,在此期间,重复旋转过程。在第二个旋转过程结束后,立即将筛子从水中取出,且将留在筛子表面上的所有物质清洗到布氏漏斗中预称重的过滤片上。使用轻微抽吸从布氏漏斗中除去过多的水。然后将过滤片和所有剩余物质转移到预称重的称重舟皿中,且被置于70℃的烘箱中直到充分干燥。确定剩余物质的重量,且计算出分散的物质的量。

单质硫

颗粒组成
本发明中的颗粒含有微粒化硫成分、粘合剂成分、表面活性剂、提供阳离子和阴离子的可溶性化合物以及膨润土。微粒化硫可由干磨法、湿磨法、或者乳化法例如高速混合和使用压差等制成。在优选实施例中,微粒化硫的尺寸为:80%的直径小于30微米;优选地,微粒化硫的尺寸为:80%的直径小于20微米。进一步优选地,微粒化硫的尺寸为:80%的直径小于10微米。最优选地,微粒化硫的尺寸为:80%的直径小于5微米。
在优选实施例中,所述颗粒含有引起或促进微粒化单质硫凝聚的粘合剂。所述粘合剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%至95%。优选地,所述粘合剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%至50%。进一步优选,所述粘合剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%至25%。最优选地,所述粘合剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%至5%。合适粘合剂的例子为碳水化合物例如单糖、双糖、低聚糖和多糖;糖脂;糖蛋白;脂类;蛋白质;脂蛋白,及以上的组合及衍生物。特定的碳水化合物粘合剂例如包括阿拉伯糖、葡萄糖、果糖、半乳糖、乳糖、麦芽糖、甘露糖、蔗糖、海藻糖、木糖及以上的混合物例如玉米糖浆;纤维素例如羧甲基纤维素、乙基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素,羟甲基乙基纤维素,羟乙基丙基纤维素,甲基羟乙基纤维素,甲基纤维素;淀粉例如直链淀粉、海胶、淀粉醋酸酯、淀粉羟乙基醚、离子型淀粉、长链烷基淀粉、糊精、胺基淀粉、磷酸盐淀粉以及双醛淀粉;植物淀粉例如玉米淀粉和马铃薯淀粉;其它碳水化合物例如果胶、支链淀粉、木聚糖、糖原、琼脂、藻酸、藻胶、甲壳素、阿拉伯树胶、瓜尔胶、刺梧桐树胶、黄蓍胶和刺槐豆胶;复合有机物例如木质素和硝化木素;木质素衍生物例如木质素磺酸盐,例如包括木质素磺酸钙、木质素磺酸铵和木质素磺酸钠,以及基于复合碳水化合物的组合物,其含有有机和无机成分例如糖蜜。合适的蛋白质粘合剂例如包括大豆提取物、玉米醇溶蛋白、醇溶谷蛋白、胶原蛋白和酪蛋白。在此可用的粘合剂还包括能够促进或引起微粒化硫集聚的合成有机聚合物,且这些例如包括环氧乙烷聚合物、聚丙烯酰胺、聚丙烯酸酯、聚乙烯基吡咯烷酮、聚乙二醇、聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯基甲基醚、聚乙烯基丙烯酸酯、聚乳酸和乳胶。在优选实施例中,粘合剂为木质素磺酸铵、木质素磺酸钙、木质素磺酸钠或以上的混合物。
在另一个实施例中,所述颗粒含有促进微粒化单质硫润湿和分散的表面活性剂。该表面活性剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~10%。优选地,所述表面活性剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。更优选地,所述表面活性剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~1%。最优选地,所述表面活性剂成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~0.5%。合适的表面活性剂的例子为烷基苯磺酸盐、α-烯烃磺酸钠、二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠、烷基萘磺酸钠、烷基萘磺酸钠集聚体、壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚、羧化物和磷酸酯类。
在另一个实施例中,所述颗粒含有提供阳离子和阴离子并促进微粒化单质硫分散的可溶性盐。该可溶性盐按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%。优选地,所述可溶性盐按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~50%。更优选地,所述可溶性盐按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~25%。更进一步优选地,所述可溶性盐按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~10%。最优选地,所述可溶性盐按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。特定的可溶性盐例如包括但不仅限于氯化铵、硫酸铵、氯化钙、硫酸钙、硫酸铁、氯化镁、硫酸镁、氯化钾、硫酸钾和氯化钠。
在另一个实施例中,所述颗粒含有膨润土,该膨润土在湿润后膨胀,并促进微粒化单质硫分散。所述膨润土按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%。优选地,所述膨润土按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~50%。进一步优选地,所述膨润土按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~25%。更进一步优选地,所述膨润土按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~10%。最优选地,所述膨润土按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。
颗粒的制备方法
在优选实施例中,微粒化单质硫与粘合剂、和/或表面活性剂、和/或可溶性盐、和/或膨润土混合。然后向该混合物中加入水,使水分含量基于干重为5%~25%。在一个优选实施例中,水分含量按重量计为总干重的5%~20%。在最优选实施例中,水分含量按重量计为总干重的5%~15%。然后使用压粒机(制粒机)将混合物物理聚合成颗粒。适当压粒机的示例性示例为卡尔制粒机(KahlPellet Mill)和加利福尼亚制粒机。可替选地,在混合步骤中可省略粘合剂,且可在存在粘合剂时使用盘式或鼓式制粒机实现集聚。在这个实施例中,粘合剂被喷入具有微粒化硫混合物的盘式或鼓式制粒机。干燥所述微粒,且得到的微粒经过尺寸筛选,且储存具有期望尺寸的颗粒。可选地,将所述微粒转移到涂覆鼓,以添加调节剂材料。
存在多种不同的物料干燥方法。优选的方法是流化床干燥、塔板干燥、或滚筒干燥,但是,也可使用其它形式的干燥设备。将物料放置在干燥器中,且该干燥器进气温度范围为大约50℃~100℃。更优选地,所述温度范围为60℃~70℃。本领域技术人员可想到更多其它干燥微粒的方法,例如包括在真空条件下干燥或使用红外加热或微波干燥。
图1显示了用于生产可水分散颗粒的方法。提供微粒化单质硫颗粒10,其中80%硫颗粒的尺寸小于30微米。还可提供若干添加剂20,例如粘合剂22,表面活性剂24,粘土26和盐类28。还提供水30,使得水加入到硫微粒以及其它所有添加剂中,以形成具有一定水分含量的混合物。
设置混合器40用于将硫微粒与任何所需添加剂及水混合,以形成按干重计水分含量为5%~25%的混合物。在一个优选实施例中,水分含量按重量计为总干重的5%~20%。在最优选的实施例中,水分含量按重量计为总干重的5%~15%。
在一个实施例中,硫微粒可在混合器40中与粘合剂混合。加入到混合器40中的粘合剂的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~95%。更优选地,加入到混合器40中的粘合剂的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~5%。
在一个实施例中,硫微粒可在混合器40中与表面活性剂混合。加入到混合器40中的表面活性剂的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~10%。更优选地,加入到混合器40中的表面活性剂的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~0.5%。
在一个实施例中,硫微粒可在混合器中与可溶性盐混合。加入到混合器40中的可溶性盐的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~95%。更优选地,加入到混合器40中的可溶性盐的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~5%。
在一个实施例中,硫微粒可在混合器40中与膨润土混合。加入到混合器40中的膨润土的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~95%。更优选地,加入到混合器40中的膨润土的量按重量计为所得混合物总干重的0.05%~5%。
在低于所述硫微粒熔点的温度下在混合器40中进行所述硫微粒与添加剂及水的混合。这样,硫微粒不会形成熔融硫磺,且能在混合物形成过程中保持其尺寸。这导致在得到的颗粒中硫微粒继续保持在最终颗粒中80%硫微粒的尺寸小于30微米。
在混合器40中形成所述混合物且该混合物含有所需的水分含量后,混合物可被转移到颗粒成型器50。所述颗粒成型器50可以是压粒机(制粒机)、利用集聚以形成颗粒的设备例如盘式制粒机或鼓式制粒机等。
使用颗粒成型器50制得的颗粒被传递穿过筛子60以筛出过大和/或过小的颗粒。这些过大和/或不所需的筛渣可被回收到混合器40中。
未被筛子60去除的颗粒可进入干燥器70干燥至最终所需的水分含量。
图1仅示出可用于制备含有微粒化硫微粒的可水分散颗粒的一种方法。图2示出另一个实施例中的方法。与图1所示的方法类似,提供微粒化硫110、水130和若干添加剂120例如粘合剂122、表面活性剂124、粘土126和盐类128。将微粒化硫与所需的添加剂以及水供入混合器140,以制备具有所需含量的硫微粒、添加剂和含水量的混合物。
将来自混合器140的混合物传送到颗粒成型器160如压粒机或集聚装置,在这里,混合物被制成颗粒。然后所述颗粒被传送到干燥器170,在这里,水分含量被减小至所需的量。经干燥的颗粒被从干燥器170传送到筛子150,以去除过大和/或过小的颗粒。尺寸合适的颗粒被收集用作最终颗粒产品,而过大和/或过小的颗粒通过传送到轧机180进行分解然后被传送回混合器140,从而回收。
颗粒尺寸
本发明所述颗粒具有的平均颗粒域大小的范围为0.4毫米~15毫米。更优选地,所述平均颗粒域大小的范围为0.6毫米~10毫米。再优选地,所述平均颗粒域大小的范围为0.8毫米~5毫米。由本发明所述方法制备的颗粒具有的均匀度指数等级的范围为30~95,在这里,所述均匀度指数等级以百分比位列第10的颗粒大小占百分比位列第95的颗粒大小的百分比计算。更优选地,所述均匀度指数的范围为60~90。
颗粒形状
本发明所述颗粒可以为以下任何形状,例如包括球形、圆柱形、椭圆形、条形、锥形、片形、针形和不规则形状。在优选实施例中,所述颗粒为近似球形。
颗粒抗碎强度
本发明所述颗粒具有1.4kg/颗粒~8kg/颗粒的抗碎强度。优选地,所述抗碎强度范围为2.2kg/颗粒~8kg/颗粒。
上文仅作为本发明原理的示例。而且,由于本领域技术人员可容易想到许多变化和修改,因此并不希望将本发明限于所示和所述的确切结构和操作,因此,所有对结构或操作可进行的适当的变化和修改都落在本发明的保护范围内。
Claims (28)
1.一种可水分散颗粒,包括:
微粒化单质硫微粒,其中80%所述微粒的直径小于30微米,所述单质硫成分的量按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的1%~99.9%;
膨润土,该膨润土的量按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%;以及
包括淀粉的多糖粘合剂,其按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%;
包括硫酸镁的可溶性盐,其按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~95%;
木素磺酸盐;并且
所述颗粒具有1.4kg/颗粒至8kg/颗粒的抗碎强度;
所述颗粒具有30至95的均匀度指数等级,其中所述均匀度指数等级以百分比位列第10的颗粒大小占百分比位列第95的颗粒大小的百分比计算;以及
所述颗粒具有的平均颗粒域大小和平均抗碎强度使得所述颗粒在与水接触数分钟内分散成微粒,其中超过50%所述微粒穿过50目(美国标准尺寸)的筛子。
2.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,所述多糖粘合剂的量按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。
3.根据权利要求1或2任何之一所述的颗粒,还含有表面活性剂,该表面活性剂的量按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~10%。
4.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中所述可溶性盐成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。
5.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中所述膨润土成分按重量计为所述颗粒总干重的0.05%~5%。
6.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中所述木素磺酸盐为如下物质中的一种或多种:木质素磺酸铵,木质素磺酸钙,或木质素磺酸钠。
7.根据权利要求3所述的颗粒,其中所述表面活性剂成分选自由以下组成的组:烷基苯磺酸盐,α-烯烃磺酸钠,二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠,烷基萘磺酸钠,烷基萘磺酸钠集聚体,壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚,羧化物和磷酸酯。
8.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,所述平均颗粒域大小范围为0.4mm~15mm。
9.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,通过使用压粒机、盘式制粒机或鼓式制粒机形成所述颗粒。
10.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,使用水分含量按重量计为所述总干重的5%~20%的混合物形成所述颗粒。
11.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,使用水分含量按重量计为所述总干重的5%~15%的混合物形成所述颗粒。
12.根据权利要求1所述的颗粒,其中,所述淀粉包括玉米淀粉。
13.一种制备可水分散颗粒的方法,包括:
将微粒化单质硫微粒与膨润土、包括淀粉的多糖粘合剂、包括硫酸镁的可溶性盐、木素磺酸盐和水在低于硫的熔化温度的温度下混合,以制成具有水分含量的混合物,其中,80%的微粒化单质硫微粒的尺寸小于30微米;以及
由上述混合物制成颗粒。
14.根据权利要求13所述的方法,还包括干燥所述颗粒。
15.根据权利要求13所述的方法,还包括筛选所述颗粒,以得到具有0.6~10mm范围的平均颗粒域大小的颗粒。
16.根据权利要求14所述的方法,还包括在对所述颗粒干燥前筛选颗粒。
17.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中的水分含量按重量计为所述总干重的5%~20%。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中的水分含量按重量计为所述总干重的5%~15%。
19.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中所述多糖的量按重量计为所述混合物的总干重的0.05%~5%。
20.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述混合物进一步包括选自烷基苯磺酸盐,α-烯烃磺酸钠,二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠,烷基萘磺酸钠,烷基萘磺酸钠集聚体,壬基酚聚氧乙烯醚,羧化物和磷酸酯的表面活性剂。
21.根据权利要求20所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中所述表面活性剂的量按重量计为所述混合物的总干重的0.05%~10%。
22.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中所述膨润土的量按重量计为所述混合物的总干重的0.05%~5%。
23.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述混合物中所述可溶性盐的量按重量计为所得混合物的总干重的0.05%~5%。
24.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述硫微粒通过干磨、湿磨或乳化之一进行微粒化。
25.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述颗粒的尺寸范围为0.6~10mm。
26.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述淀粉包括玉米淀粉。
27.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,所述木素磺酸盐为如下物质中的一种或多种:木质素磺酸铵,木质素磺酸钙,或木质素磺酸钠。
28.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中通过使用压粒机、盘式制粒机或鼓式制粒机而由所述混合物形成所述颗粒。
