Abstract
<p>SE DESCRIBE UN MÉTODO DE MEJORAMIENTO DE LA CINÉTICA DE LIXIVIACIÓN Y LA RECUPERACIÓN DE METAL DURANTE LA LIXIVIACIÓN ATMOSFÉRICA O SUSTANCIALMENTE ATMOSFÉRICA DE UN SULFURO METÁLICO. EN ALGUNAS MODALIDADES, EL MÉTODO PUEDE COMPRENDER LOS PASOS DE: (A) PRODUCIR UN CONCENTRADO DE FLOTACIÓN DE SULFURO METÁLICO; (B) PROCESAR EL CONCENTRADO DE SULFURO METÁLICO EN UN CIRCUITO DE ACTIVACIÓN REDUCTIVA QUE OPERA A UN PRIMER POTENCIAL REDOX , PARA PRODUCIR UN CONCENTRADO DE SULFURO METÁLICO REDUCTIVAMENTE ACTIVADO ; Y , (C) PROCESAR SUBSECUENTEMENTE EL CONCENTRADO DE SULFURO METÁLICO ACTIVADO EN UN CIRCUITO DE LIXIVIACIÓN OXIDATIVA PARA EXTRAER RIQUEZAS METÁLICAS . EN ALGUNAS MODALIDADES DESCRITAS, LOS PASOS DE ACTIVACIÓN REDUCTIVA PUEDEN SER EMPLEADOS ANTES DE LOS PASOS DE LIXIVIACIÓN OXIDATIVA (INCLUYENDO LA LIXIVIACIÓN EN MONTÓN O LOS PASOS DE BIO- LIXIVIACIÓN). EN ALGUNAS MODALIDADES, PUEDEN SER EMPLEADOS PASOS DE PROCESAMIENTO FISICOQUÍMICOS DURANTE LA ACTIVACIÓN REDUCTIVA Y/O LA LIXIVIACIÓN OXIDATIVA.
