[0002] Kindersitze und Kindersättel für Fahrräder sind allgemein bekannt. So gibt es einfache Kindersitze, die mittels einer Rohrverbindung fest am Rahmen, an einer horizontalen oder schrägen Stange waagerecht angebracht werden können, so dass das Kind in Fahrtrichtung vor oder hinter dem Fahrer sitzt. Über dem Hinterrad (oder auch Vorderrad) können zudem Sitzkörbe oder Sitzschalen für Kleinkinder angebracht werden, die zwar eine höhere Sicherheit als einfache Sitze bewirken, jedoch infolge der Anordnungsweise einen hohen Schwerpunkt zur Folge haben. Dies führt zu einer erschwerten Handhabung des Fahrrades für den Fahrer infolge instabiler Bedingungen. Bei Anordnung über dem Hinterrad ist keine Kontrolle des Kleinkindes während der Fahrt möglich. Nichtnutzung des fest angebrachten Kindersitzes führt zur Verschmutzung und allgemein zu einer erschwerten Handhabung des Fahrrades. Der Kindersattel ermöglicht eine vergleichsweise grosse Sitzlänge, ist leicht und einfach, d. h. auch ohne Werkzeug zu montieren. Der Schwerpunkt ist tief gehalten, was ein sicheres Fahren ermöglicht, zudem ist das Kind durch Arme und Beine des Fahrers geschützt und ständig kontrollierbar. Unterschiedlich grosse Kinder können so mitgenommen werden, ohne den Kindersattel verstellen zu müssen. Das Kind hält sich wie der Fahrer an der Lenkstange fest. [0006] Ein Kindersattel ist längs in Fahrtrichtung auf dem oberen, mittleren Rahmenrohr 5 des Rahmens eines Mountainbikes zwischen Gabel 8 und Sattelstütze 9 montiert und befindet sich beim Fahren faktisch zwischen den Beinen des Fahrers. Der Kindersattel umfasst als Basis eine feste Satteldecke 1, die das Rahmenrohr 5 teilweise umschlingt(umschliesst) und nach unten bis über das unteres Rahmenrohr 6 hinausreichend verläuft. Auf der Wölbung der Satteldecke 1 um das obere Rahmenrohr 5 ist eine Polsterung 3 rutschfest als Sitzfläche angeordnet. Die Rutschsicherheit kann z.B. durch die Eigenspannung der Polsterung 3 und/oder mittels einer Klettverbindung mit der Satteldecke 1 erreicht werden. Direkt unterhalb des unteren Rahmenrohrs 6 weist die Satteldecke an beiden Schürzenenden je eine Bohrung 7 auf, durch die horizontal und quer zur Fahrtrichtung eine Stange 2 gesteckt ist, die einerseits der vorderen Begrenzung (Widerstand) am unteren Rahmenrohr 6 und andererseits auch als Fussstütze für das Kind dient.
