Par ailleurs, les tables à parties chauffantes ne permettent pas la consommation de mets froids immédiatement après l'utilisation des éléments chauffants, à moins d'y adjoindre un système de suppression immédiat de l'effet de chauffe, mais cela est très onéreux.
