Description
Drinking glass The invention relates to a new equipment for a drinking glass, e.g. B. a champagne glass, a Roman or the like. More.
According to the invention, the cup here merges into the hollow foot, which is held widened and which is used to accommodate exchangeable lighting.
The light radiation on the glass wall and on the contents of the glass has a great lasting effect on the viewer, especially since the light source can be colored or the glass z. B. can be monochrome, colored or striped in different colors.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown by way of example, namely: FIG. 1 the glass held as a champagne glass in view, FIG. 2 a top view of the bottom of the glass, the foot.
The cup 1 of the glass merges into the hollow base 2, which is kept widened. The latter has a light source 3 which is fed by a battery 4. The battery and light source can be replaced and sits on a disk 5, advantageously made of plastic. The disk 5 is inserted into the hollow foot 2 and adheres therein by clamping action, by means of a bayonet lock or by other known detachable connection means. Furthermore, the disk 5 is the carrier of an electrical switch 6 in order to be able to switch the light source 3 on or off. This can also be done automatically, be it when putting on the glass or when lifting the same ben.
The transition 7 of the foot 2 into the cup 1 is kept transparent so that the light source illuminates the liquid in the cup 1.
The lower part 8 of the foot 2 is advantageously kept opaque in order to cover the battery and lighting, except for the light source 3, invisibly. The upper part 9 of the foot 2 is transparent white or colored, or alternately made in colored stripes, while the light source is colored or white. The chalice 1 is also white, uni, colored or alternating in colored strips 10.
In addition to the artificial electrical light source 3, the arrangement of known luminescent materials, luminescent materials and luminescent colors is provided which are also stored in the base 2 and can furthermore be enriched with radioactive additives.
