Description
Method for washing out haze silk and similar synthetic threads wound onto perforated hollow bodies on the occasion of their manufacture. When proceeding according to. The patent claim I of the main patent is evacuated with the wound, consisting of rayon or similar synthetic threads in the hollow body immersed in the washing liquid and drained the liquid entering the same through the fiber well.
According to the invention, a further development of this method consists in the fact that the wrapped hollow body is evacuated with the temporary exclusion of the washing liquid, whereby the washing process can be influenced by expelling the dripping material adhering to the fibers.
According to one embodiment of the method, the hollow body wrapped with the fiber material is connected to a suction line and evacuated immediately before the washing liquid is fed. As a result, the drip liquid residue adhering to the fiber material from the precipitation bath is driven out, which can then be conveniently collected and fed back into the precipitation bath. The elimination of the precipitating bath residue, which has hitherto delayed the rinsing of the fiber material, not only enables it to be recovered, but also enables, according to experience, a considerable shortening of the washing process.
A repeated interruption of the supply of the washing liquid to the fiber material during the washing process with incessant evacuation of the Hohlkör pers is sometimes advantageous, because here by rapid and thorough removal of the precipitating bath deposits detached from the washing liquid, further impact of the same on the fiber material is prevented . After the fiber material has been sufficiently rinsed, the hollow body is expediently evacuated again to the exclusion of the washing liquid drained from the vat, for example.
This eliminates the need for the fiber material to drip off afterwards, which is withdrawn as a result of any possible action of chemicals in the washing liquid, no matter how dilute it is, and can dry out quickly.
