Abstract

composição de gel de balanceamento de pneus, pneu de automóvel, montagem de roda de automóvel e método para o balanceamento de uma montagem de roda de veículo a motor a presente invenção refere-se a composições viscoelásticas para balanceamento de pneus compreendendo: 1) 85 a 97% em peso de um componente de éter de glicol compreendendo um ou mais éteres de copolímero de etileno/propileno glicol de fórmula geral (i) ou geral (ii) ou misturas das mesmas: r-o{[ch(ch3)ch2-o-]m[ch2-ch2-o-]n}h (i) r1-(o-{[ch(ch3)ch2-o-]m[ch2-ch2-o-]n}h)2 (ii) em que: r é hidrogênio ou um grupo alquila de 2-8 átomos de carbono; r1 é uma porção alquileno de 2-8 átomos de carbono em que os dois substituintes não estão presentes no mesmo átomo de carbono; m é a porcentagem molar de propileno glicol na porção ou porções de copolímero de etileno/propileno glicol; e n é a porcentagem molar de etileno glicol na porção ou porções de co-polímero de etileno/propileno glicol, em que a razão n:m está na faixa de 35:65 a 80:20; cada composto de copolímero de glicol com um peso molecular médio numérico na faixa de 2.000-10.000; e 2) 3 a 15% em peso de um formador de sílica-gel pirogênica; as ditas composições de balanceamento sendo viscoelásticas e com um módulo de armazenamento (g') entre 1.500 pa e 5.000 pa a 22°c, um módulo de perda (g'') menor que o módulo de armazenamento até uma frequência de cruzamento de 10-40 hz, e uma tensão de elasticidade crítica excedendo 2 pa.
