maltitol granulado para compressão direta e o respectivo processo de preparo. a invenção se refere a um maltitol granulado de riqueza superior ou igual a 97%, de preferência compreendida entre 98 e 99%, caracterizado pelo fato de apresentar um teor de água inferior a 1%, de preferência inferior a 0,5%, mais preferencialmente ainda inferior ou igual a 0,4%, uma comprimabilidade superior ou igual a 300 n, de preferência compreendida entre 300 e 500 n, uma higroscopicidade inferior ou igual a 2,5%, de preferência compreendida entre 0,15 e 2,5%.
