Abstract
PROCESSO PARA CONTROLE MICROBIANO, DESINFECÇÃO OU REPARO DE AMBIENTE E APARELHO DIFUSOR PARA PRODUÇÃO DE GÁS DE PERÓXIDO DE HIDROGÊNIO PURIFICADO NÃO-HIDRATADO DO AR ÚMIDO DO AMBIENTE. A presente invenção refere-se a processos e a dispositivos para o fornecimento de controle microbiano e/ou desinfecção/reparo de um ambiente. Os processos compreendem geralmente: a produção de um Gás de Peróxido de Hidrogênio Purificado (PHPG) que é substancialmente isento de, por exemplo, hidratação, ozônio, espécies de plasma e/ou espécies orgânicas; e o direcionamento do gás que compreende primariamente PHPG para dentro do ambiente de forma que o PHPG atue para fornecer controle microbiano e/ou desinfecção/reparo no ambiente, preferencialmente tanto nas superfícies quanto no ar. O peróxido de hidrogênio vaporoso é gerado partindo de oxigênio e água do ar ambiente. Ainda, é descrito um aparelho difusor para produção de PHPG, o último compreendendo uma fonte de luz ultravioleta; um fotocatalisador metálico ou de óxido metálico (por exemplo, TiO2), uma estrutura de substrato do catalisador; e um mecanismo de distribuição de ar, em que a morfologia do catalisador sobre seu substrato é uma estrutura permeável pelo ar similar à vela, situada de forma perpendicular ao fluxo de ar ao longo do aparelho difusor; e em que é presumido que a dita morfologia altere o equilíbrio de reação do catalisador de forma que produza peróxido de hidrogênio partindo tanto da oxidação da água quanto da redução de dioxigênio.
