Abstract

MÉTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA COZINHAR ALIMENTO Um dispositivo (17) para cozinhar alimento, tal como arroz (4) é adaptado para executar um processo de cozimento o qual é executado pelo aquecimento do alimento (4) sob a ação da água fervente durante um período de tempo. O dispositivo (17) inclui meios (23) para controlar uma operação do dispositivo (17), cujos meios de controle (23) são adaptados para operar componentes do dispositivo (17) de tal maneira que uma quantidade total de água (5) para ser usada no processo de cozimento seja suprida de forma gradual ao alimento (4), o suprimento de uma porção maior da quantidade total de água (5) sendo executado quando o processo de cozimento já esteja acontecendo. De preferência, o processo de cozimento é iniciado pela evaporação de uma porção relativamente pequena da quantidade total de água (5) para cozinhar a vapor, suprindo esse vapor ao alimento (4), e permitindo que esse vapor se condense no alimento (4).
