COMPOSIçãO, OBTENçãO E USO DE COMPOSIçãO FARMACêUTICA DE GéIS, ESPUMAS, ENXAGUATóRIOS BUCAIS OU VERNIZES COM REDUZIDA CONCENTRAçãO DE FLUORETO SUPLEMENTADO COM FOSFATO E/OU CáLCIO PARA APLICAçãO TóPICA PROFISSIONAL OU USO CASEIRO". Os produtos de aplicação tópica de fluoreto são efetivos no controle da cárie, erosão e abrasão dentária, principalmente em pacientes de risco determinado de cárie ou cárie-ativo, erosão e/ou abrasão clinicamente diagnosticada. Sua eficiência se baseia na alta concentração de fluoreto que induz a formação de fluoreto de cálcio na superficie do esmalte dentário protegendo-a contra o ataque ácido. Entretanto, como apresentam uma grande quantidade de fluoreto, em crianças pode causar toxicidade aguda, como já relatada na literatura. A presente invenção provê uma formulação farmacêutica na forma de gel, espuma, enxaguatório bucal, de uso diário ou semanal, ou verniz, com reduzida concentração de fluoreto (1%; 1,32%; 0,02 ou 0,1%; 2,5%) de forma a aumentar a eficácia do produto quando comparado aos produtos de uso tópico comerciais e diminiuir o risco de ocorrência da toxicidade aguda. Para atingir este objetivo suplementa-se o produto tópico com uma fonte de fosfato (Trimetafosfato de sódio - TMP ou Hexametafosfato de sódio - HMP) na concentração de 0,1 a 10%, ou uma fonte de cálcio e fosfato (glicerofosfato de cálcio - CaGP) na concentração de 0,1 a 5%, durante o preparo do produto. O acréscimo destes ativos no produto não insolubiliza o fluoreto, pois os compostos são insolúveis na mistura. Como não há interação entre os ativos (fontes de fluoreto com TMP, HMP, ou com CaGP) a formulação é de fácil manufatura sem acréscimos de outras tecnologias ou fórmulas ou designer dos recipientes para manter a efetividade do produto. Ao produto, poderão ser acrescidos agentes antiplaca, branqueadores e desensibilizantes. O produto pode ser manufaturado e comercializado diretamente para o consumo por indústrias farmacêuticas ou de cosméticos, não sendo só restrito seu uso a crianças, mas também aos adultos, já que apresenta efetividade superior aos produtos comerciais. The addition of these actives in the product does not insolubilize fluoride because the compounds are insoluble in the mixture. Since there is no interaction between the assets (fluoride sources with TMP, HMP, or CaGP) the formulation is easy to manufacture without adding other technologies or formulas or container designers to maintain product effectiveness. To the product may be added antiplaque, whitening and desensitizing agents. The product can be manufactured and marketed directly for consumption by the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industries, not only being restricted to children, but also to adults, since it has superior effectiveness to commercial products. This technology can be used in other dental products such as fluoride toothpastes or home care products.
