Abstract

método para controlar a contaminação por bactéria, levedura e/ou mofo de pelo menos uma fruta ou um vegetal. trata-se de métodos para controlar a contaminação por bactéria, levedura e/ou mofo de frutas ou vegetais comestíveis pela aplicação nos mesmos de uma composição microbicida aquosa estabilizada contra luz ultravioleta formada a partir de água e (a) pelo menos um componente selecionada a partir de (i) um composto microbicida em estado sólido tendo pelo menos um átomo de bromo por molécula; (ii) um composto microbicida aquoso de (i); (iii) uma composição aquosa concentrada tendo um conteúdo de bromo ativo de pelo menos 50.000 ppm derivado de água e (i) brc1 ou brc1 e br2 e (ii) sulfamato de metal alcalino overbased, no qual as proporções relativas de (i) e (ii) dão uma razão atômica de nitrogênio para bromo ativo maior do que 0,93, e onde o ph da composição é maior do que 7; (iv) uma composição em estado sólido formada pela secagem de uma composição de (iii), e (b) ácido ascórbico dissolvido ou sal ou éster comestível na mesma para inibir a degradação da solução por luz ultravioleta.
