Abstract

SISTEMA DE CONTROLE DE MOTOR PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTìVEL FLEXìVEL Um motor de combustível flexível (10) é operável com álcool como combustível principal em um tanque de combustível principal (24) e gasolina como combustível auxiliar em um tanque de combustível auxiliar (21), e operado normalmente com somente o combustível principal a partir de um injetor de combustível principal (19) com base no controle de relação de ar-combustível depois que o motor (10) tenha sido aquecido. O combustível auxiliar é suprido de maneira forçada para o motor (10) por um dado período de tempo em um estado de operação inativo. Um valor absoluto do valor de integração de um desvio entre um valor detectado de um sensor de relação de ar-combustível (32) depois que o combustível auxiliar tenha sido suprido e uma relação estequiométrica de ar-combustível seja calculada, e o nível de combustível dentro do tanque de combustível auxiliar (21) é monitorado com base no valor absoluto calculado.
