Abstract

"LIGA DE COBRE/ZINCO/SILìCIO, USO E PRODUçãO DA MESMA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma liga Cu-Zn-Si compreendendo, em % em peso, 70 a 80% de cobre, 1 a 5% de silício, 0,0001 a 0,5% de boro, até 0,2% de fósforo e/ou até 0,2% de arsênico, o remanesceste sendo zinco mais as inevitáveis impurezas, e ao uso e produção de uma liga desse tipo, a liga sendo distinguida por uma resistência melhorada à oxidação e por propriedades mecânicas uniformes.
