Abstract

"MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE BIOMASSA E RESìDUOS ORGáNICOS COM O PROPóSITO DE GERAR PRODUTOS COM BASE BIOLóGICA DESEJADOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para o tratamento de resíduo orgânico ou biomassa lignocelulósica, pelo qual os carboidratos se tornam mais disponíveis para subseqüente hidrólise, por exemplo, por meio da adição de enzimas ou fermentação direta em um ou mais produtos desejados. A invenção mais especificamente se refere a um método que compreende uma combinação das seguintes etapas do processo: hidrólise térmica, oxidação úmida e explosão úmida. O método de acordo com a presente invenção pode operar com substrato não dividido ou apenas fracamente divido tendo uma concentração elevada de matéria seca.
