Abstract
REATOR DE EXPOSIçãO DE FASE DE GáS LìQUIDO PARA CULTIVO DE CéLULA. A presente invenção refere-se a um método e de um dispositivo para iniciar o crescimento de células e para o cultivo de células em densidades altas, nos quais as células a serem cultivadas estão situadas em membranas de filamento oco e são levadas alternadamente para um agente intermediário nutriente liquido e para uma fase de gás presente acima dos mesmos. O dispositivo é um biorreator de exposição de fase de gás líquido contendo uma câmara de abastecimento na qual estão dispostas membranas de filamento oco dotadas de um diâmetro interno de até 5 mm e cujo volume interno forma compartimentos. Após as células terem sido introduzidas nos compartimentos de cultura, aproximadamente uma metade da câmara de abastecimento é preenchida com agente intermediário nutriente e a outra metade com uma mistura de gás. Após a perfusão do agente intermediário e o gás ter sido ligado, tem início a exposição cíclica das membranas de filamento oco e das células contidas nas mesmas na fase líquida ou na fase de gás.
