Um fechamento para um recipiente, o qual compreende um tampão (1) e um anel de travamento (2), o tampão sendo adaptado em uso para se encaixar de forma selável na abertura (3) do gargalo de saída (4) de um recipiente (5); e o anel de travamento sendo adaptado para ser montado sobre o gargalo de saída do recipiente e deslizável entre as primeira e segunda posições, de modo que, em uso na primeira posição, o anel de travamento se encaixe no tampão e, desse modo, impeça um desencaixe do tampão da abertura do recipiente e, na segunda posição, o anel de travamento seja (a) desencaixado do tampão, desse modo permitindo que o tampão se desencaixe da abertura do gargalo de saída e (b) retido na segunda posição no gargalo de saída do recipiente."CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER". A closure for a container which comprises a plug (1) and a locking ring (2), the plug being adapted in use to sealably fit into the opening (3) of the outlet neck (4) of a container (5); and the locking ring being adapted to be mounted on the outlet neck of the container and slidable between the first and second positions, so that, in use in the first position, the locking ring fits into the cap and thereby prevents disengaging the cap from the container opening and, in the second position, the locking ring is (a) disengaged from the cap, thereby allowing the cap to disengage from the outlet neck opening and (b) retained in the second position at the neck container outlet.
