Abstract
"AçO INOXIDáVEL AUSTENìTICO INCLUINDO MOLIBDêNIO". Um aço inoxidável austenítico compreende, em peso 9% a 23% de cromo, 30% a 35% de níquel, 1% a 6% de molibdênio, 0 a 0,03% titânio, 0,15% a 0,6% de alumínio, até 0,1% de carbono, 1% a 1,5% de manganês, 0 a menos do que 0,8% de silício, 0,25% a 0,6% de nióbio, e ferro. As modalidades dos aços inoxidáveis austeníticos de acordo com a presente invenção exibem resistência realçada à corrosão. Desse modo, os aços inoxidáveis da presente invenção podem encontrar ampla aplicação como, por exemplo, componentes automotivos e, mais particularmente, como conectores flexíveis do sistema de exaustão automotiva e outros componentes, bem como em outras aplicações nas quais a resistência à corrosão é desejada.
