Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURANÇA PARA AGULHAS PARA UM APARELHO DE CATETÉR INTRAVENOSO. O presente modelo refere-se a um dispositivo de segurança para agulha para um aparelho de catetér intravenoso que inclui uma base capaz de receber uma agulha entre as mandíbulas opostas fixadas à base e capaz de ser influenciada pela agulha. As mandíbulas movem entre uma posição expandida na qual interagem com uma obstrução dentro de um alojamento tipo asa do aparelho de catetér intravenoso. As mandíbulas permitem o movimento relativo da agulha com a base quando expandidas, fecham em torno de uma ponta de agulha à medida que passa pelas mandíbulas, e impedem o movimento relativo da agulha com a base quando as mandíbulas são desmontadas. A agulha do aparelho de catetér intravenoso pode então ser descartada com segurança com a ponta da agulha dentro do dispositivo de segurança para agulha.
