"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE ALQUILENO GLICóIS" Processo para a preparação de alquileno glicóis reagindo óxido alquileno com água na presença de pelo menos uma composição iónica do cátion quaternário de fosfónio da fórmula geral R~ 1~R~ 2~R~ 3~R~ 4~P^ +^ por meio do qual cada um de R~ 1~, R~ 2~, R~ 3~ e R~ 4~, independentemente, pode ser um grupo alquila, cicloalquila, arila, alquilarila ou arilalquila tendo de 1 a 10 átomos de carbono, cada um deles pode transportar um ou mais substituintes, ou ser unido ao polímero e um ânion diferente de metalato ou halogênio.
