Abstract

"éTER DE CELULOSE ANIÈNICO, E USO DO MESMO". A invenção se refere a um éter de celulose aniónico obtenível por um processo compreendendo a reação de uma celulose de metal alcalino com um ou maios reagentes. A selecionados do grupo consistindo de ácidos halo-acéticos, halo-acetatos de metal alcalino, vinil-sulfonados de metal alcalino, ácido vinil-sulfónico, e seus precursores, e com um ou mais reagentes B possuindo a fórmula R^ 1^-(OCH~ 2~CH(R^ 2^))~ n~-P, na qual R^ 2^ representa hidrogênio ou um grupo metila; n é 0-2; P representa um grupo glicidil-éter, um grupo 1,2-epóxi ou um precursor dos mesmos, se P representar um grupo glicidil-éter, R^ 1^ representará um grupo C~ 3~-C~ 5~-alquila linear, opcionalmente contendo um átomo de oxigênio, um grupo fenila, ou um grupo benzila, e se P representar um grupo 1,2-epóxi, R^ 1^ representará um grupo C~ 3~-C~ 5~-alquila linear, opcionalmente contendo um átomo de oxigênio. De preferência, o reagente A é ácido cloro-acético e o reagente B é n-butil-glicidil-éter. A invenção também se refere ao uso de citado éter de celulose aniónico como uma agente espessante associativo, estabilizante ou modificador de reologia.
