Abstract

<B>MéTODO DE RUìDO ELETROQUìMICO E SISTEMA DE MEDIçãO PARA DETERMINAR A TAXA DE CORROSãO DE UM ARTIGO ELETRICAMENTE CONDUTOR<D> A presente invenção relaciona-se a uma técnica e sistema de determinação do ruído eletroquímico únicos. O sistema emprega um único eletrodo de trabalho (3), um eletrodo de contagem (5), um eletrodo de referência (1), e um sistema de medição para determinar o potencial entre os eletrodos de trabalho (3) e de referência (1) e a corrente entre os eletrodos de trabalho (3) e de contagem (5). A técnica compreende medir o potencial entre os eletrodos de trabalho (3) e de referência (1) em circuito aberto durante um dado período de tempo, comutar ao controle potenciostático, medir a corrente entre os eletrodos de trabalho (3) e de contagem (5), e usar o potencial e a corrente medidos para determinar a taxa de corrosão geral e as taxas de corrosão localizada.
