Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA O AUMENTO, PARA O DECRéSCIMO E PARA A ALTERAçãO DA LARGURA DE BANDA DE UM CANAL COMUTADO POR CIRCUITO EM UMA REDE MULTIPLEXADA POR DIVISãO DE TEMPO, PARA O AUMENTO DA LARGURA DE BANDA DE UM CANAL ISóCRONO EXISTENTE EM UMA REDE MULTIPLEXADA POR DIVISãO DE TEMPO COMUTADA POR CIRCUITO, E DE UM CANAL COMUTADO POR CIRCUITO MULTI-DIFUNDIDO EM UMA REDE MULTIPLEXADA POR DIVISãO DE TEMPO". A presente invenção se refere a processos para alteração da largura de banda de um canal comutado por circuito em uma rede multiplexada por divisão de tempo, em que o dito canal compreende um conjunto de aberturas de tempo dentro de cada quadro recorrente de uma corrente de bits entre um primeiro nó e um segundo nó. De acordo com a invenção, uma ou mais aberturas de tempo adicionais dentro de cada quadro recorrente da dita corrente de bits são reservadas, inclui o uso, durante um período de tempo, de somente o dito conjunto de aberturas de tempo transmitindo dados de carga útil pertencendo ao dito canal, enquanto provê, durante o dito período de tempo, informação indicando que as ditas uma ou mais aberturas de tempo adicionais não são correntemente usadas para a transferência de carga útil.
