Sãoproporcionadas seq³ências de DNA isoladas, as quais codificam aexpressão de álcool desidrodiconiferílico éter benzílico redutase.Em outros aspectos são providos veículos de clonagemrecombinantes, os quais codificam álcool desidrodiconiferílico éterbenzílico redutase ou uma seq³ência de base suficientementecomplementar a pelo menos uma porção de DNA ou RNA deálcool desidrodiconiferílico éter benzílico redutase para possibilitara hibridização com as mesmas. Em um outro aspecto, sãoproporcionadas células hospedeiras modificadas que foramtransformadas, transfectadas, infectadas e/ou injetadas com umveículo de clonagem recombinante e/ou seq³ência de DNA quecodifica álcool desidrodiconiferílico éter benzílico redutase. Assimsão providos métodos para a expressão recombinante de álcooldesidrodiconiferílico éter benzílico redutase em célulashospedeiras, tais como células vegetais.
