Processos e aparelho para formar uma novidade (tal como um produto de sorvete provido de palito) a partir de um material moldável, que envolvem um meio e processos por meio dos quais o material é extrudado em uma cavidade temporariamente provida com um fundo, o relativo movimento sendo, conseq³entemente, provocado, de maneira a cisalhar a quantidade de material contida na cavidade de qualquer dito material que permaneça no bocal de enchimento de cavidade antes da subseq³ente descarga da quantidade moldada originária da cavidade no momento em que ela não mais dispõe de um fundo.
