Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPERSõES AQUOSAS, ESTáVEIS, PARA A ENGOMAçãO DE PAPEL"<D>. São descritas dispersões de agente de engomação de papel aquosas para a engomação em massa e em superfície, as quais contêm as resinas de colofónio ou compostos derivados de resinas de colofónio, uma quantidade mínima de um emulsificante aniónico, catiónico ou não-iónico, um polímero adicionado ulteriormente para a estabilização da dispersão, eventualmente um agente de fixação contendo íons de aluminio, eventualmente um agente de engomação sintético e eventualmente um extensor, bem como um processo para a sua preparação. As novas dispersões são adequadas para o acabamento de papel e de cartolina, O processo para a preparação das dispersões de agente de engomação de papel é caracterizado pelo fato de que, em uma primeira etapa, prepara-se uma dispersão metaestável de uma resina de colofónio ou de um composto derivado a partir dele, sob auxílio de uma quantidade mínima de um emulsificante sintético, resfria-se essa dispersão imediatamente e, a seguir, reage-se, no frio, com uma solução de polímero ou dispersão de polímero, para formar uma dispersão estável.
