Abstract

"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A MONTAGEM DE UMA ESTRUTURA DE OFFSHORE FLUTUANTE". Processo e aparelho para rapidamente retirar o lastro e levantar uma subestrutura em um ambiente marítimo para um nível onde ela irá engatar com um deque de modo que ambos atuaem em conjunto como em um só corpo. Geralmente, a instalação é executada como segue. A subestrutura é rebocada para o local de união e suspensa (se necessário) . A subestrutura pode ser conectada a um acoramento temporário e fixada por lastro instalado, se necessário. Os compartimentos selecionados na subestrutura são enchidos com água do mar até a subestrutura ser submergida abaixo da linha água para uma profundidade desejada. Uma quantidade predeterminada de ar comprimido é bombeada nos tanques inferiores na subestrutura. O deque a ser unido com a subestrutura é posicionado acima e em alinhamento com a subestrutura. As válvulas adequadas são abertas para permitir que o ar comprimido nos tanques inferiores fluam para dentro dos tanques superiores que contém água do mar. O ar comprimido desloca a água do mar a partir dos tanques superiores. Isso aumenta a flutuação da subestrutura e induz a mesma a se mover verticalmente em contato com o deque. Conforme o processo continua, o deque e a subestrutura irão eventualmente atuar como um só corpo.
