Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"DISPOSITIVO DE LIBERAçãO CONTROLADA PARA A PRESERVAçãO DE ESTRUTURA DE MADEIRA PRóXIMA AO SOLO"<D>. Um método e um dispositivo são descritos, que evitam a decomposição e a deterioração de objetos de madeira provocadas por pestes por uso de um dispositivo de liberação controlada. Esse dispositivo de liberação controlada utiliza polímero que incorporam pesticidas. No método descrito, o dispositivo de liberação controlada é colocado próximo da madeira do objeto de madeira. O pesticida é liberado gradualmente do dispositivo e absorvido na estrutura da madeira. O pesticida absorvido pela madeira cria uma barreira ou uma zona de exclusão para penetração por insetos. O dispositivo de liberação controlada mantém um nível mínimo efetivo de pesticida na zona barreira ou de exclusão por um período de tempo predeterminado.
