Abstract
<B>''ARAME ESTIRADO A FRIO E MéTODO DE FABRICAçãO DO REFERIDO ARAME"<D>. Através do refino elétrico de escória de um lingote de aço inoxidável, do tipo aço inoxidável PH 17-7 temperado por precipitação, a resistência à fadiga de molas produzidas a partir de arames estirados a frio do dito material, é substancialmente aumentada. Isso depende do fato de que grandes inclusões de escória, que podem dar início à ocorrência do processo de fadiga, são eliminadas na refusão do processo de ESR, enquanto zonas maiores contendo concentrações de pequenas inclusões de escória são substancialmente reduzidas. O material é particularmente adequado para molas em bombas de injeção de motores a Diesel.
