Os polímeros termoplásticos em partículas finas (por exemplo poliéter- poliuretanos hidrofobicamente modificados, poliacrilatos, álcool polivinílico, poliéter-polióis, poliacrilamida, aminoplasto poliéteres e poli(acetal- ou cetal poliéteres) tendo reduzida densidade aparente, processo de fabricação dos mesmos por dissolução do polímero e rapidamente insolubilizando o polímero da solução e processo para usar suspensões aquosas destes polímeros como espessadores para sistemas aquosos.
