Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DETERMINAçãO DE ALVO EM TRAJETóRIA PARA UM VEìCULO AUTOMOTIVO USANDO UM DISPOSITIVO GIROSCóPICO". A presente invenção se refere a um método, um aparelho e um artigo fabricado que satisfaz a necessidade de determinar se um veículo obstáculo está ou não na trajetória de um veículo hospedeiro. Especificamente, a presente invenção satisfaz o registrado acima independente de se o veículo hospedeiro está ou não em movimento em uma trajetória reta ou ao longo de uma trajetória curva. Preferivelmente, dados de entrada ("entrada") são colhidos a partir de instrumentos montados em um veículo hospedeiro. A entrada é usada para calcular para o veículo hospedeiro a taxa média de giro, o raio de curvatura da trajetória sendo percorrida, a velocidade, e o alcance a partir do veículo hospedeiro até um veículo obstáculo. Adicionalmente, a entrada é usada para determinar o desvio de um veículo obstáculo. Adicionalmente, a entrada é usada para determinar o desvio de um obstáculo a partir de um azimute de referência de 0° se estendendo através do centro de um feixe de radar emanando a partir de uma unidade de radar montada no veículo hospedeiro. Um ângulo <244>~ i~ de azimute do obstáculo é calculado e usado para determinar se o obstáculo está ou não na trajetória do veículo hospedeiro. Após uma determinação ser feita quanto a se o obstáculo está ou não na trajetória do veículo hospedeiro, os resultados daquela determinação são enviados e exibidos por sensores e mostradores que designam os resultados.
