Abstract

"EMULSõES DE ALTA RAZãO ENTRE FASES INTERNAS E DISPERSõES AQUOSAS DE POLìMEROS HIDROXI-FUNCIONAIS E MéTODO PARA PREPARá-LAS". A presente invenção é uma composição compreendendo quer: a) uma emulsão de alta razão entre fases internas tendo água como uma fase contínua e um poliéter hodroxi-funcional termoplástico como uma fase dispersa; ou b) uma dispersão aquosa estável do poliéter hidroxi-funcional termoplástico. A composição da presente invensão encaminha uma necessidade na técnica por prover um revestimento termoplástico que exibe uma excelente barreira para oxigênio e dióxido de carbono, mas cujas propriedades de barreira não são adversamente afetadas por contado com água. A composição é particularmente útil na indústria de embalagem de papel onde biodegradabilidade e resistência a deterioração de comida é desejável.
