Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR BROMETOS DE BENZILA SUBSTITUìDOS". A invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar brometos de benzila substituídos de fórmula geral (I): em que pelo menos um substituinte R^ 1-5^ representa um grupo que atrai elétron, tal que flúor, cloro, bromo, alcoxicarbonila C~ 1~-C~ 4~, ciano ou nitro, e os substituintes R^ 1-5^ remanescentes representam hidrogênio ou metila, por bromação de toluenos substituídos de fórmula geral (II): com um agente de bromação em temperaturas de 20 a 95°C.
