Abstract
"TRANSDUTOR DE TORQUE" Transdutor de torque compreendendo um eixo rotativo tendo um primeiro e segundo membros de aplicação de torque substancialmente rígidos, os quais são conectados a um acoplamento torcionalmente concordante. O acoplamento dessa maneira, permitindo deflexão angular do primeiro membro de aplicação do torque relativamente ao segundo membro de aplicação do torque como função da magnitude do torque no eixo. Um primeiro elemento em grade ligado a ou integral com o primeiro membro de aplicação de torque e um segundo elemento em grade ligado a ou integral com o segundo membro de aplicação de torque. Os elementos em grade compreendendo superfícies compostas de regiões alternativas de alta e baixa refletividade conectadas por um acoplamento torcionalmente concordante. Estas superfícies são iluminadas por uma fonte de radiação eletromagnética (EMR), que gera modelos em um ou mais conjuntos de detetores sensíveis a EMR. A disposição dos modelos é uma função do torque aplicado ao eixo e a saída de um ou mais conjuntos pode ser processada para produzir uma medição do torque aplicado ao eixo.
