Abstract

"FONTE DE LUZ, E, CATODO DE EMISSãO DE CAMPO" A fonte de luz compreende um recipiente evacuado possuindo paredes, cuja pelo menos uma porção consiste de uma camada de vidro externa (23, 23'), que em pelo menos na sua maior parte, é revestido no interior com uma camada de fósforo (24, 24') formando uma camada luminescente e uma camada condutiva (25, 25') formando um anodo. A camada de fósforo (24, 24') é excitada para luminescência por meio de bombardeamento de elétrons de um catodo de emissão de campo (40, 40') localizado no interior do recipiente. Um eletrodo modulador está arranjado entre o catodo (40, 40') e o anodo (25, 25') para geração de campo elétrico necessário para a emissão de elétrons. O catodo de emissão de campo (40, 40') inclui um núcleo de extensão longitudinal (41, 41') possuindo um eixo central, e corpos emissores de campo (42, 42') se estendendo do núcleo (41, 41').
