Abstract

Patente de Invenção: ANTENA HELICOIDAL DE BANDA DUPLA. Uma antena helicoidal de banda dupla possibilita a operação em duas bandas de freq³ência. A antena helicoidal de banda dupla inclui duas antenas de banda única (1304, 1308), cada uma possuindo uma rede de alimentação (1804, 1808), um plano terra (412) oposto à rede de alimentação e um conjunto de um ou mais irradiadores (104A a 104D) que se estendem a partir da rede de alimentação. Uma aleta (1504) se estende a partir da rede de alimentação de uma das antenas, que provê uma alimentação para tal antena. A aleta (1504) também propicia uma trajetória ou via para que a corrente flua a partir dos irradiadores da segunda antena ao longo do eixo da segunda antena, desse modo aumentado a energia irradiada nas direções perpendiculares ao eixo. O plano terra de uma antena é usado como um anel de curto para a outra antena.
