Abstract
"INIBIçãO DE SENSO INTRON DA EXPRESSãO DE ENZIMA DE RAMIFICAçãO DE AMIDO" é descrito um método de inibição de expressão de gene. O método, que afeta a atividade enzimática em uma planta, compreende expressar em uma planta (ou célula, ou tecido ou órgão da mesma) uma seq³ência de nucleotídio onde a sequência de nucleotídio codifica, parcial ou completamente por uma classe de A SBE intron, com uma orientação de senso; e onde a seq³ência de nucleotídio não contém a seq³ência que tem senso a uma seq³ência exon normalmente associada com o intron."INTRON SENSE INHIBITION OF STARCH BRANCH ENZYME EXPRESSION" describes a method of inhibiting gene expression. The method, which affects enzyme activity in a plant, comprises expressing in a plant (or cell, or tissue or organ thereof) a nucleotide sequence where the nucleotide sequence encodes, partially or completely by a class of A SBE intron, with a sense orientation; and where the nucleotide sequence does not contain the sequence that makes sense for an exon sequence normally associated with the intron.
